If Goff stays healthy and plays like he did the last 6 games then yes. Our other QBs suck and we would be lucky to get 5 wins with them.

Not too bad. Started played 1 series. Blough and Boyle are exactly what everyone thinks they are. Worst back ups in the league

Missed tackles by every damn defensive position throughout the game.

History repeats itself?

Detroit defense had 159 missed tackles in 2021, 17 more than any other defense. Alex Anzalone led the NFL with 23, while four other Lions had double-digit misses (Tracy Walker III with 14, Charles Harris with 11, and AJ Parker and Jalen Reeves-Maybin with 10 apiece).

Derrick Barnes plays exactly like Jarrad Davis. Reads and hits wrong gap, slow to process while in coverage, has the habit to over/under pursue.

But he did have a TFL. Woot, woot.

Blough and Boyle are exactly what everyone thinks they are. Worst back ups in the league

They need to cut bait with both of them and soon. It isn't a plus from any perspective having one of the two or both should Goff go down for any length of time.

Half a dozen rushes by Atlanta went 10+ yards and 3 of those were by the two QB's.
Same ole garbage as prior years.

LB group still appears to be just as bad as they've been in last 7-8 years and it isn't likely to improve much once we get into the regular season.

That is not a surprise. Lions have had the worst LBs for years, filling the holes with late picks and indragteds was never going to fix it. Barnes and Rodriguez are the type to potentially be good when they learn from a good player. They don't have that.

Still no outside containment. And the few times they did there were gaping holes up the middle.

We might have the best O-line in the league. Hopefully we just run a lot and chew up the clock and keep the defense off the field as long as possible. I think our secondary will be decent but the LBs stink. Hoping Rodriguez improves so we have 1 decent one. The DLine is thin. So far I see Akim and Hutch being the only impact players. The rest got pushed around.

Lots of work to do.

three cuts so far. Nolan Givan and Ryan McCollum are not a surprise. Garrett Griffin is a little as they brought him in from a team they all knew. He seemed like the inside track for blocking TE.

they had 8 TE's so not a shock 2 go in the first 3 cuts. 2-3 more will still be released as well.

He will get Andre Fluellen's locker.

We may only keep 3 TEs and Brock Wright is better IMO.

We finally cut Brady Breeze. Glad to know our secondary is at least that good. We will only keep 5 safeties most likely. Joseph looks like a keeper too so...

For some reason we are favored to win on the road. Anyone know what is going on with the colts that would make us a favorite?
