Unlike the absolute idiots in here, Jim Harbaugh is smart. He loses Keenan Allen and Mike Williams and Ekeler AND Everett yet he drafts from the inside out and takes the best oline available. Smart.

Dislike all you want but Poles grabbed 2 of the top 5 rated players in this draft with 1 and 9.

I'm obviously gonna continue watching the rest of tonite's draft, but since we're thru for the night, here's my Bears grade:

A+

Yes I know, you can't really grade a draft for at least a few years, yada yada. But relative to what was expected, who would be at 9 when Poles was on the clock, this is a deserving grade. Not for the whole draft, just for the first round.

DE/Edge was the single biggest need by position, but our GM is strictly BPA, and that was obviously Odunze.

They're trying to make their team as competitive as possible, altho they gave up some draft capital next year to do this. The Norris is turning into one of the fiercest divisions in the NFL.

Obviously he was Poles BPA. DE/Edge was arguably our single biggest need by position, but this is how Poles rolls (hey, I like that!!).

And we now have the best trio of wideouts in the Norris.
