Fuck yea. Glad they get this out of the way & locked him up for 4 years. Now it will be interesting to see the contract breakdown & whether they can squeeze a Diontae Johnson contract in this offseason. I doubt it.

Can't find the tweet (still searching) but they are considering Johnson as a non-essential player. I guess they are going to continue the WR draft factory approach?

Well when you don't have a clear indicator whether he is or isn't the guy... then the sound business approach is to let that player test the market & try to react to it. Odds are more favorable that way than to pay the guy what he wants & hope he doesn't regress.

He throws really well for a Runningback.
Never really understood the infatuation with Willis. He is/was as raw as it gets, yet people wanted to draft him in the 1st Rd. I was deathly afraid Tomlin would be enamored enough to do it.

I'd say he probably got picked at about the right spot in the draft.

A 3rd to see if you can polish a turd isn't so bad.

Just like Mason... And to be fair, he had a little more justification for the hype than when Colbert tried to tell us Mason was a 1st Rd talent... looooool

Yep I am so glad the Steelers didn't waste that first on him.
