Keep LeVert and Sexton? At 45 million?

Gotta imagine Sexton will get 25 if LeVert gets 20.
Sexton is rfa.

Some other team has to give him a offer sheet to force the Cavs hand.

Whose gonna do that?

Levert will be unrestricted next year.

He has a better chance to get the overpay.

He also ended up playing a key role in the Lakers winning a title.

His 3 shooting and defense.
A lot of guys play key roles but he isn't a better player than LeVert. He filled a role LA needed though. JR Smith was better than KCP

Yep. After the injury not a lot of teams vying to match or go over the top for Sexton plus would he really go to a shit team that gave him $2M more a year...most likely not but I doubt it would be $25M. Like I said, he will probably get $19-$20M and if a team offer that $22M...then they are looking at like 4 for $88-$90.
LeVert is a different story but the good thing is the Cavs have many options.

Extend or trade him in the offseason. Wait it out and see how he plays with Sexton back then either extend him or trade him at the deadline. No rush there but like you said, overpay more likely.

I would flip LeVert for Conley. Conley can be a backup PG, only if the fit isn't there for LeVert.

Wont be completely surprised (or upset) if they run it back (with Rubio, a different backup PG as well as possibly a rookie at 14 and/or 39) and do as you alluded....see how everyone looks together then make moves if necessary.

My guess, though, is they tinker somehow. Perhaps move the lottery pick in a package?

Didn't The Lakers give KCP 18 million?

He put up 13, 5 and 2.

Obviously, he's a better defender.

But, Caris shits all over him on offense.

Levert has averaged 18 ppg for the last 5 seasons.

KCP averaged 18ppg..... Well, never.
Not so sure about Schroeder, people may look at the Celtics as what can be possible after you get rid of him

I understand that, but now it doesn't look so bad.

He’s the type of role player that every team can use thanks to that made for tv gimmick

Dude, Isaacs makes 17 mil a year, has missed 2 Seasons and never averaged mire than 12ppg.
He could have played last year but Magic used his vaccine stance to go ahead and tank again. I guess it worked.

You gotta think the Knicks will be his only serious suitor.

Sexton would need to be a sign and trade.

Or...

You could trade him for Barrett, who is also up for a extension.

But, he wants the bag too.

No fucking way would I give Barrett 20 mil per.

I don't like moving the lottery pick unless it is for a clear upgrade and that doesn't seem likely. I really like this draft especially for a wing. I would rather them give up a player to move into the top 10 then trade it away to move sideways.

Isaacs has played in 136 games.....fuck.

He's straight up stealing money.
....and he's not even good.

He showed flashes that he could be one day.

But, he is a spindly broken thing.

Which is another reason I believe the Magic will avoid taking Chet #1.
