He had to have another minor procedure done in March.

After what happened to him in the Bubble, I don't blame them for being cautious.

The Orlando Magic announced last week that forward Jonathan Isaac will not play this season as he continues to rehab from a torn ACL. They are hopeful he will be ready for the start of the 2022-23 season, at which point he will have been out for over two full years. On Tuesday, the team said Isaac underwent a minor surgical procedure on his hamstring after suffering an injury during rehabilitation.

"Obviously, this was unexpected," said Magic president Jeff Weltman. "No one will work harder than Jonathan in the goal to return for the start of next season."
He better ball out or the Magic need to demand a partial refund.

Funny you should say that.

The Magic have a bit of protection, not a lot.

But, at least they were wise enough not to go out like the Knicks with Stoudemire.

Jonathan Isaac has missed the entirety of the last two seasons. As such, the final three years of his contract with the Orlando Magic have become partially guaranteed. Isaac’s salary was initially fully guaranteed at $17.4 million per season through 2024-25. Because Isaac didn’t meet games played thresholds specified in his deal, his final three seasons now have varying guaranteed amounts.

The 2022-23 is partially guaranteed at $16 million. 2023-24 is guaranteed for just $7.6 million. And the final season, in 2024-25 is now fully non-guaranteed. Isaac’s cap hit will remain $17.4 million per season, as Orlando will only receive cap relief if Isaac is waived. There’s no indication that waiving the versatile forward is on the table at this time. Isaac recently said he’s feeling good and hopes to be fully available to play at the start of next season

He needs to be gone.

He can't stop reliving his time in Chicago.

You can't depend on D Rose.

Nice backup.

But, can't be your starting pg.
Maybe.....but he isn't on the hot seat though, according to my guy in NY.

He turned them around and they made the playoffs last season. Next season might be a make or break season.

But, they do need a starting PG.

Ok so the Pelicans announced that Zion has been cleared to play without restriction. Maybe they can find a game somewhere.

I think Garland, Sexton makes more sense if you trade for a guy like Wiggins. Nice size and plays defense. You then have a lot of length and defense at the 3, 4 and 5 to make up for the shorties.
I dont think trading for Wiggins is crazy either it’s just who else is offering. Offering Love might be exactly what GS would want. Expiring contract for cap relief and he would be a great fit for minutes off the bench. Not a great defender but he is one of the best at taking charges, actually he was the best this past season and that’s playing bench minutes.

Didn't The Lakers give KCP 18 million?

He put up 13, 5 and 2.

Obviously, he's a better defender.

But, Caris shits all over him on offense.

Levert has averaged 18 ppg for the last 5 seasons.

KCP averaged 18ppg..... Well, never.

KCP was on shorter contracts, the first coming when they couldn't get free agents (and was at partially fishing with Lebron's agent).

Trivia time:

Who is the all-time leading scorer in the NBA Finals? Not average, but total points.
