Crazy to think the draft is a little over a month away. It will start to feel like it is snail pacing here soon though.

Personally, I love drafting guys like this - money in the bank.
i agree. the draft is a crap shoot anyways.
to get a top 10 pick late. do the research on achilles surgeries. are they coming along like acl surgeries?

Any chance he slides to the end of the second?
I would think so. Teams without much talent on their rosters won't draft for guys like this. Just a guess, of course.

potentially won’t play at all in 2022
every body heals differently

can denver afford to draft a non contributor
if think first 3rd is the spot

I think if we can get another guy or two in FA, we have the luxury of taking him

Let me pull a card of a hat...

He goes somewhere between 10-19 in the second round.

George Pickens is an interesting prospect in this draft.... If it wasn't for his ACL tear nearly a year ago he would have been right in that group of first rounders discussed along side London, Wilson, Olave, Dotson, J. Williams, Burks, Watson (in no order) he will be more then a full year removed from the ACL tear by the time he goes into camp with an NFL team and has played some on that knee.

But, his name is George....

Uh, no. By King George, Mingo was referring to Paton.

The rules of the contest are too complex for my simple mind!

Velus is a decent. I don't think he is Tyreek (but nobody is) Velus struggled to get on the field at USC but really blossomed under the Josh Huepfel offense this year. He is starting to show the upside he had coming out of high school. I think he could be a very good special teams player in the NFL. Not a great route runner. He is a little older coming out as he played 6 years of college football. Think he could make it as one of better return men in the NFL. He has decent strength and is good after the catch. Trying to think who I would compare him to in the NFL. Maybe Derrick Mason the former Oilers/Titans WR who started off as a good return man and developed into a good WR.

I personally don't think we sniff WR early in this draft but I can't help but think about a guy like Wan'Dale on Denver being an factor/return man type... That being said if we take a WR on day 2 it isn't a good sign for the guys we drafted two years ago (But I don't think that is the case) after that I think anything can happen with BPA... I am very confident in Seth Williams growing into a role in year 2. I don't think we expected him to still be around in Round 6 last year so anything can happen when it comes to the draft when we are talking about weather or not we do end up taking a WR this year especially with all our day 2/3 picks... I think Seth Williams could turn out very similar to Tim Patrick down the line.
