Phillip Danault is now my favorite player on the team. He scores, assists and can drop the gloves to protect one of their own.
He may not be flashy, but he’s a damn good player.

Fun game. One of the few I've been to, and it was pouring outside. Copley just makes the saves he's supposed to and he kinda doesn't care if the perfect shot beats him, which has really settled this team down. Kings PP was on fire tonight, so I don't know if we credit Edmonton's PK or a corner has really been turned for LA. Fiala on fire right now. Be interesting to see how Moore slots back in later on. Kaliyev as well.

They keep winning, and that's really hard to argue with. Even that Boston loss I thought they looked pretty good. 2-2 game and pretty much had that third but it didn't completely cross the line.

I really gotta say Arvidsson feels like a major part of their success lately. From great back checking to some beautiful assists, maybe he really was just hurt the last two years, but he looks great during this winning stretch.

Yeah Quick looks snakebit for sure. Softies against NJ, where even Fox was saying he's retreating into his net instead confidently coming out. Brutal to watch, honestly because is my favorite player ever, and it's not really that close. And he looked amazing as recently as last year in the playoffs. But man... rough.

I don't see a 30 year old journeyman in Copley being the answer longterm, but you can't argue with what we're seeing right now, so he's the guy in net that works for this team. I still think LA hopes Petersen can recover and make his way back. But it's looking pretty bleak on the goaltending front in LA right now, so we'll see how that all gets addressed going forward.

Lose channels and/or kill any chance for cap going up for a long while?

Just came over to post the same thing. I also wonder, how this will affect my ESPN+ subscription. I got it because of the hockey games. And because the Kings are out of market for me, I get to see every game.
However, ESPN uses the Bally’s feed. So if Bally’s shuts down, I may lose the Kings’ feed. I will still get to see the games, just from the other team’s perspective.

I have the Disney Bundle (ESPN+/Hulu/Disney+) but also DirecTV. I use the ESPN app for games not on DTV - how does this affect DTV? Anyone know?

Don’t know what is going to happen.
A short term fix would be to let ESPN+ broadcast the local games. NHL is looking to real up with MLB and maybe NBA teams and continue the broadcasts. The othe regionals like MSG and Comcast won’t be happy with that.

So MLB stated (I have to find the article) that if Bally’s does go out, then they will produce the games for the 14 effected teams. And somehow pay the teams for lost revenue, then go after Bally’s to recoup their money.
I’m not sure what the plan for NHL is.
