I think he means that in the sense that he could really help a contender and possibly get himself a ring before he retires.

On the other hand, he signed an extension, so he obviously doesn't hate being there.
.....agree.

Unless he goes down with a injury, the contract he received would have been available elsewhere on the open market.

At his age, the extra security NOW , was too good to pass up.

Would he like a ring?

Who wouldn't.

But, he clearly wanted to get paid more.

Jakob Poetl gotta hit Ja with a flagrant at some point.

He can't keep letting him victimize him on live TV.

Ummmmm, didn't it sound like AD was gonna be back in a week?

According to Muppet face Mcmennin, Davis pain level went from.a.9 down to.a.1.

But, the Lakers want it to be at ZERO before he returns?

Huh?

Lakers FO truthfully doesn't want him back this season because it means we'd win more games and put pressure on them to improve the roster to compete. The longer he's out, the easier it is for them to sell the idea of not making any trades. And they don't really want to make trades because they're cheap asses who don't want to pay the repeater tax.

Do you really believe that?

Like, honestly?

They want to win.

They just want to do it on the cheap.

Unfortunately, those two things are rarely compatible.

There is no way they want to miss the post season.

If not for the financial loses, then definitely to avoid giving NOLA a lottery pick.

1000% believe it. This FO is not very bright. Plus, their actions and words tell us this is what they've been doing. From last summer up until now, Rob Pelinka has constantly shifted the goal posts on when they'd look to make a trade. It went from the offseason, to training camp, to twenty games in, to December 15th when everyone could be eligible to be traded that signed contracts over the summer, to AD's hurt we need to see where we are if he can come back. They're just looking for excuses to run out the clock. But the West is so jumbled that they're currently only 2 games back of 6th place despite this shitty team. If AD comes back soon, they won't have any more excuses to not do something.

After missing over two years due to injury, Jonathan Isaac played in a ramp-up game with the G League affiliate in Lakeland Wednesday night.

In 24 minutes of action, Isaac scored 15 points while grabbing five rebounds.

Isaac will play again Friday in Lakeland, with a return to Orlando coming soon.

Skip is just constantly tone def.

Can’t put him ahead of Giannis, Luka and Jokic right now. Even Tatum and KD.

If he goes off and the 6ers move up toward the top?

Then maybe.

But not today.
He’s not going to win MVP because NBA media hates him. But let’s not pretend that he isn’t worthy. He’s leading the league in scoring. There hasn’t been a big man lead the league in scoring in back to back years since Kareem. He had 35 in 23 minutes last night. That’s the least minutes played for a 35 point night in league history. He has become much better passing out of the post. He’s the fulcrum of his team’s defensive attack. Joel Embiid is absolutely worthy of an MVP that they refuse to give him. This year is Luka’s year because NBA media is predictable and we already heard all the off season talk that this is his year. It’s his turn so Luka will win the MVP. NBA media already determined that it’s his time. Additionally, Luka has no help so he’s primed to carry his team chalking up tons of stats and RAPTOR and VORP and all that other nonsense desk jockeys who never received a high school letter fall in love with. It won’t matter if the Mavs are a 6 or 7 seed.

As far as I’m concerned he is owed 2 already
