You know I’m kidding.

Dunno why some posters used to try to lump you in as a STRICTLY Cavs fan.

Oh I know you were just joking around.

And I think the reason some tried to call me a strictly Cavs fans is my teams listed are all from Ohio.

Getting beal now is fine.

It means you won’t be decimated with zero bench because you can operate as an over the cap team and still run a solid 7-8 man rotation with a few ring chasers to be your 8-10 guys

I just don't see Beal as a $50M player. If Lebron was retiring this season, maybe. $50M+ for a third option just seems wasteful, and doesn't really line up with the front office as being cheap. Paying $57M for him at age 33 in 2026-27 is going to be an albatross and might actually make that 2027 pick more important.

He’s worth 2 second rounders, if that is indeed the cost.

The Cavs have a ton of 2nd's. If they don't want to give up more for another wing, I would kick the tires on him. Not a fan of though.

Also, he probably wouldn't see the court. He only adds shooting. The Cavs have a lot of wings that offer more

Stop it.

The Warriors are spending a lot more than the Lakers and just resigned Poole to a long term big money extension. Nobody accusing them of being cheap.

The Heat making that decision was part of why LeBron left.

The Bucks are in Milwaukee and don’t have near the earning power the Lakers do.

The Lakers are the most valuable franchise in the e NBA. They are a money machine. There is no excuse for them to avoid spending when they should be within a championship window, but aren’t because of their terrible decisions.

I don't think it's about being cheap. It's about not knowing what you're doing. Jeanie shouldn't be in charge of basketball operations and Pelinka needs a president above him; he's too inexperienced to be both VP of basketball operations and GM.

I see him as a lottery ticket, a prove-it investment. Get him cheap and see if you can get more of that potential out of him. Being stranded unused on the Knicks needs to end.

Perfect for the Lakers. He wouldn't get playing time in Cleveland

If the hawks really wanted to move Collins, the suns have enough expiring deals to make it worth while

Saric
Crowder
Craig

Gets you there salary wise

The only question is what the sweeteners are
Collins and Ayton seem a little redundant- and a ton of money to pay for 2 big men with some limits on their games.
