Doesn't make any sense. The Mavs don't have the players to include in a deal with picks. The Lakers don't either.

There's no way of predicting when the Lakers will win a game. Their defense just disappears for long periods of time, Ham puts 5 guard lineups on the floor, etc. If management doesn't get off their duff very soon, it won't matter anyway.

Considering eveyone seems to be acting like John Collins deal is in Tobias Harris territory, maybe it’s the Russ deal and eating that one that gets them on the board?

Depends on how badly they want to move Trae and Collins. The Trae situation seems to be boiling over and Collins' value has plummeted seemingly. Teams are definitely going to low-ball them. Such a deal is probably what the Lakers brass thinks they can get if Beal isn't available. Heads in the clouds....

Like you, I am curious to see how viable the Ignite is.

Are they just overpaying some at first to attract talent?

G League pays about 35k.

Ignite gave Shareef O’Neal 125k for a 5 month stint.

imo……he doesn’t currently project as anything more than a minor leaguer.

He played 33 min on Friday vs the Hornets, 31 min vs Portland, etc. That said, it's not like he was going to stop the 3 pt assault that happened in the 3rd.
