But the fact that they won it the year before, WITHOUT HIM, suggests he needed them more than they needed him.

But, as a delusional Jordan fan girl, I have to wonder if it would have even mattered if the GOAT hadn't retired?

I wish his dad hadn't been killed.

But, I'm happy Dream got a chip.

He's my favorite Center of all time.

The only reason I don't think Clyde rode Hakeem's coattails is he was their 2nd best player. So maybe without him they don't repeat.

Just the fact they repeated is amazing. Don't know if they lost a lot from the '94 title team but they went from 58 wins to 47. That's a pretty big drop for a defending champ.

And when it comes to the GOAT he stopped more than one HOFer from getting a title. Actually the Rockets should be happy MJ wasn't around for the '94 & '95 playoffs.

And the Dream, right there with you. He's my favorite C of all time as well.

People want to use rings in individual player comps, but when you can’t do it as the number 1, it just doesn’t have the same meaning.

Some people are taking Shaq as the most dominant force of all-time and that could very well be true. Would have loved to see The Dream vs Shaq at their peak square off. I’m taking Hakeem, just my preference

There has never been a star player LESS interested in playoff success as Houston Harden.

I think he's good, just not mvp, and def not multiple times mvp when you consider other players are better and or getting passed up
