I've gotten used to the players I wish the team would target going elsewhere while Pelinka and the Buss progeny keep checking their Christmas wish lists.

I disagree.

Drexler was a very good player on some good teams.

At the very least it is debatable between Lillard and Drexler.

And if you take away the championship that a post prime Drexler rode Hakeem’s coat tails to, it is actually pretty close.

You can't go wrong with either player.

For me the tiebreaker is on the defensive end.

Clyde had 2,207 steals. 10x with at least 100 steals in a season and 3x he had at least 200.

Dame has never had 100 steals in a season.

As far as Clyde riding Hakeem's coattails not sure about that. Once he was traded (played 35 regular season games) he was the teams 2nd leading scorer. 21.4 ppg to go along with 7.0 rebs, 4.4 asts & 1.8 stls.

During the playoffs 20.5 ppg (2nd on team), 7.0 rebs, 5.0 asts, 1.5 stls.

That’s interesting but what is “selling high”? I don’t think he brings back more than a 2nd round pick. His salary doesn’t bring back much in return.
