So his setback took place back in March but he said this last month

“I’m closer than I’ve ever been,” Issac said to the Orlando Sentinel. “I’ve been playing the last few weeks and just getting in shape. I’m still getting there. But in terms of body, knees, and hamstrings, everything is great. I’m just not in game shape.”
Yeah, fuck this guy…lol

You can track his injury updates here…there’s a lot of them lol
So, like @thunderc said, weird how the team has handled updating the public on his progress.

Looks like he’s practicing with the G League as of Dec 6.

Still, he had a minor cleanup in March and was expected back at the start of the Season.

Not playing because you are out of shape because you haven’t played in 2 years doesn’t seem like a sound strategy.

At this point I’m convinced the magic are letting him do this so they can cancel his deal lol
He will be a trade asset for a team looking to blow it up because of the way his deal was structured.

That was the point of my initial post about how teams can structure deals to protect themselves.

Play 60 games or get half your salary, Issacs.

Dont commit a crime and we will pay you 20 mil per, MPJ.

Sad it needs to actually be put into writing on deals giving these guys multigenerational wealth.

Mlb players do rehab stunts in the minors, I’m surprised the nba hasn’t done this more

I guess he doesn't like CP3. Russ is not above CP3 but CP3 also has some competition for that top 5 spot. That being said, I think CP3 is right there.

Top PG's all time: Magic, Oscar, Steph, West, CP3, Stockton, Isiah in no order.

lol

Boogie needs back away from the crack pipe.

I don't really see the point. Kuz is good, but how much of an impact does he make when he has to dial back his game again behind Lebron and AD? Other teams will offer more most likely anyway, if the Wiz even decide to move him.

Yeah, love Kuz, but agree with this.

Something like the Hield/Turner deal would be guys who fit and wouldn't have to sacrifice as much of their own games.

So, the only thing left to be decided tonight is who gets blown out worse, Clippers or Bucks?

Gonna be close.
