I had sportscenter on the background and stopped in my tracks when I heard the announcement.

Hope he can get back to close to what he was before the injury last season.

Before that injury bug got him when he was the primary low post defender he held opponents to 39% shooting, best in the league.

RWIII is just an all-world athlete.

He's still young, so there's good hope he can snap back after injury and remain a top 5-man for several years.

(You do worry about his potential to have a very long career, though)

Anywho: in this year's version of the Celtics... I think Boston (at their best) alternates RWIII and Horford's minutes... playing them one at a time... and then going small and spreading the floor as a philosophy.

Just hope he isn't being rushed back too soon. Don't think that's the case though.

Once he gets back into the swing of things the defense should look much different.

Yeah, I don't think so either.

I also would be shocked if they aren't very cautious with his minutes and giving him the occasional night off.

Oh yeah.

Blake Griffin is just a walking target on defense.

Blake Griffin is just a walking target on defense.

I want his minutes to be limited for several games.

And BG on D. I cringe each time.

How much longer will Horford be out?

And did you hear that odd stat about Kornet? There's no way this really has any impact right? You've seen him jump in the air several feet away from a 3 point shooter right. Well turns out on those shots only 33% of them are good.

Bring him along slow. It’s a long season. We need him to peak in May

It's a pretty easy economic decision.

The pro's of it totally outweight the con's.
