I'd be interested in the other text messages too. Apparently Miles had been texting him to come pick him up. If in those texts Miles was talking about having beef with someone, it seems like his claiming not to have seen that final text wouldn't hold water. He'd still be bringing a gun to what he knew was a heated situation.

But if it was just a bunch of "Hey, where are you?" texts, then him saying he didn't see the text could be valid.
