He doesn’t even understand the nature of a basketball play which always has multiple options with where to go with the ball based on the decisions the defense makes. He thinks it’s predetermined who is going to take the shot. The only way that applies is off of a catch and shoot play working against the clock.

In fairness, from what he has said about his playing experience, it sounded like very old school mindless robots.

No read and react plays

I agree with you 100%

However, the ball WAS in the hands of top 5 most clutch players in the game.

You know Dam well if that was game 7 it was Tatum who was shootin

The inexperienced coach is now experienced, and he’ll never do that again. Guaranteed

Wrong again.

It was in Finals elimination games when MJ passed to Paxson and then Kerr.

It was a playoff elimination game when Kobe passed to Horry and Game 7 of the finals when he passed to Metta.

It was game 7 in the finals when Lebron let Kyrie take the shot that sealed the Cavs only title.

In each of the above scenarios, the play was likely set up for the star, but the way the play was defended presented a better shot for another player that the star knew that player could hit.

That wasn’t a playoff atmosphere last night?

Celtic fans sure acted like it.

Brunson being out, season coming down to the wire. Celtics healthy, trying to keep the top spot vs bucks.. that’s not on the celts players mind?

"Celtics healthy" :L

Did you even watch the game? The Celtics were healthy really, then why didn't Robert Williams play last night?

It was a helluva game though.

I’m calling the shot now:
It’s totally on brand for the Sixers to have ended the Bucks 16 game win streak and then to go and lose to the Pacers tonight.

Think Adam Silver will come down really hard on this. This is a situation that he cannot let get out of hand. And not just on Morant's part, but overall for the league.

Honestly I feel for him. Yes, he's had some privilege that others in the league did not having growing up. But at the end of the day we forget that these guys are still incredibly young, impressionable and given massive financial responsibility. You have all sorts of people in their lives for good or for worse. Just think of some of the people you were hanging around at 22-23 that you would never consider hanging out with again. And then multiply that 100x because you have money.

2/25 Tatum beat the sixers on a play EYEDENTICAL!! Smack hand…

Last night instead of takin the shot, he passed off to a player who was hot from 3pt

Now if this was baseball, you knuckleheads would think an non superstar who was 4-4 during game is going to get that game winning hit in extra innings cause he was 4-4 early in game. Odds are so against that 4 - 4 guy to that he will come through again, and that the way I saw it last night.

Celts coach went against the odds and lost!

Stick to putting all the pressure on your stud cause that is why hes tagged a franchise player.

Freekin horford is a seasoned vet who is NOT considered a clutch game winner, even though he hit shots that kept them for losin, he could not hit the winner .

Very well put. Youth, insane athletic ability and alotta money can be bad combo.

Ja's been an idiot. At least he's acknowledged it and is taking the right steps to correct things. He should be held accountable for his actions. Hopefully he's learning an important life lesson outta this.

Oh yeah one more thing. He needs to get rid of any so called friends that are outside of his close group of family/friends. Those kinda people can be bad influences.
