Iirc Lebron has been pretty consistent in shitting on the dunk contest during his career.

But yeah, the stars all backing out is what did it

But Lebron was a key cog in that as well

For anyone that has an issue with LeBron not entering the dunk contest, it's nothing more than yet another excuse to have a problem with him.

To some people no matter what he does they'll always have some kinda issue with him.

and so far the Cavs have even passed the Grizz.

As far as what, wins and losses?

Here’s the issue….

Cavs have to get by Boston and the Bucks to get to the Finals,

Memphis has to get passed the Nuggets,maybe Phoenix.

So, yeah….:

Cavs only have a punchers chance.

Those two roads to the finals are very different with the East being the more treacherous path.

Lebron started this bad trend. Look at the names in the dunk contest prior to bron and look at the names since it became evident he was too good for this competition. He does deserve most of the blame

I get that but what is there to lose by doing this very early in your career ? To me all these young stars (high flyers) should do it within the first 5 years because after that they definitely are not doing it.

They should have traded for Conley.

They should have picked up Bev instead and just ran with him and Hyland.
