too little too late--- but encouraging to see them fight back

once again- they lack focus- get themselves in a hole, and have to rely on talent to dig themselves out- sometimes they pull it off- sometimes they dont. Its been a constant theme for this team

I cant complain too much coming off a 7 game win streak--- but they have a tough stretch after the break and need to be playing well.

some of their losses can be annoying how they go down. Fall down by a lot. Claw back. Lose. True, there have been many they got back in and won the game.

What I liked about the win streak, though, is they came out from the jump in most games and the game was over by the half.

Depending on the day, those three teams vacillate between 4-6.

They would have to overtake 1 minimum.

Making up 5 games with 21 to go isn’t impossible.

But, it’s highly improbable.

Yeah, figured it was the Lakers that would have interest. As I said yesterday, I wouldn't complain, but I think he'd get more run on another team.

I know it’s a business and nobody wants to help a direct competitor.

Especially not when his 2 suitors are the teams Lebron bolted for.

Cleveland’s decision-makers, including chairman Dan Gilbert, will discuss that possibility amongst themselves and with Love’s representation over the next few days, sources tell cleveland.com.

The situation has been difficult on Love, who began telling confidants recently that he was weighing the possibility a buyout, sources say, paving the way for him to become a free agent, find a bigger on-court role elsewhere and join another playoff team.

Guessing by now you know it wont be denied. My guess is they didn't mind doing him a solid if that's what he wanted......but no reason to hurt themselves in the negotiations of the buy out by making it seem like they are all for it.

Well, both teams are whole.

Clippers still have the better team and roster CURRENTLY.

If either team loses one of the stars, they are fucked.

But, I think the Clippers would still make the playin.

Agree. The Lakers hole is too deep. Clips have some cushion.

The Celtics or Bucks would be a problem as well. I would personally keep him. One injury away from needing his services...

I was thinking why not keep him and see if he can get it together and play like last year and this year pre-injury.

Kind of hoping we have another buyout target but likely wishful thinking.

I honestly believe this is the year we will get the Battle for LA, playoff edition.

Not sure if it will be in the 1st round or the 2nd.

But, it’s going to happen.

Pretty fair fight too.

Still, I got my Clippers in 6.

The one team they always get up for is the Lakers.

I would probably say Clippers in 6 too if it happens. They seem to be the Lakers' kryptonite no matter what.

The next 20ish game will tell though.

Seeing the last game the Lakers played gives me optimism but yeah Clips in 6!

That’s exactly why I want to play the Lakers.

There are no home games for them against the Lakers.

But, over the last few years, they have actually thrived against you in spite of it.

I have no clue why they can’t seem to do that against anyone else.

The play in could actually help. As I posted above, this team still has to get used to each other which requires time together on the court. A couple of extra games to do that isn't really a bad thing.

It's also a couple of extra games where AD or Lebron could get hurt..but that's the position they've put themselves in.

My hard line Re top 6 is really only because @DJ suggested we bet on the fact that the Lakers will finish there or above.

Man, Sixers lead leakage has been a thing for multiple seasons under Doc, especially in that Hawks series. At the same time, tip of the cap to the Cavs ball pressure. That’s a legit defensive team. Very impressed.
