I knew it was the Lakers, not the Clips.

I know the Lakers have a spot open on their roster. Not sure who else is available that would fit their need.

Again, I would love to have him, but there are plenty of other teams that would offer him more minutes.

6th seed is the absolute ceiling, if, and it's a big fucking IF, literally all the cards fall the right way.

7th or 8th spot is more likely and do-able. It gives them HCA in the play-in and guarantees them at least two games to win one.

The way the season has been going for the Lakers I would not be complaining about that.

Yeah, that's my thought as well.

If they go 20-3 the rest of the way....maaaaaaybe they get to 5th.

I don't see them going 20-3.

They have an outside shot at 6.

Most likely they end up 7th or 8th and being the proverbial "team no one wants to play".

I don't see the point for either side. For Love, he wants to play more minutes. The Lakers front court has Davis, Vando, Hoochiemama, and Gabriel. If you toss Love into that, he's probably not getting more than 15. And if he is for the Lakers, its gonna make them worse. Love's numbers this year are actually worse in some respects than what Thomas Bryant is this year, who they just shipped out because he wanted a bigger role. The minutes aren't there.

They are looking to fill with Kevin Love -

I just think the Lakers need to stick with the group of young players they now have - So far, Vanderbilt, Beasely, Bamba and Russell have had great chemistry which has enabled to trim down the minutes on LeBron and Davis

Shit, at this point i'd even settle for a 10th place, but I feel that would be underachieving.

7-8 spot is what i'm thinking

I think Barton would be the better choice.

But, still have time for other guys to get bought out.

Some of the teams ahead of you, like the Clippers, have proven they can beat you even with one of their top guys out.

They have shown they can beat the pre-trade Lakers without one of their top guys.

Agree though, if the Lakers lose Lebron or AD, they can just start planning for next year.

I think the all star break came at just the right time when it comes to rest!

Well, both teams are whole.

Clippers still have the better team and roster CURRENTLY.

If either team loses one of the stars, they are fucked.

But, I think the Clippers would still make the playin.

Taller midget…lol

Yeah, but for every team.

So, no advantage there.

Im overjoyed Kawhi isn’t in any of the competitions.

Im sure y’all feel the same about Davis.

But, this week off gives the Dubs, NOLA, PHX time to get healthier and that might not be a good thing.

Hey @Shaqdaddy11 @DJ @trojanfan12

I honestly believe this is the year we will get the Battle for LA, playoff edition.

Not sure if it will be in the 1st round or the 2nd.

But, it’s going to happen.

Pretty fair fight too.

Still, I got my Clippers in 6.

The one team they always get up for is the Lakers.

3rd easiest schedule and they are already looking like they have played together all season.

They are still going to need to adjust and find their roles.

So it will be a little clunky at times.

The question will be if they can get through that and still win games.

Lebron will help smooth a lot of that out, but there's still going to be some adjustments.

How do you know after 1 game?

For the record, I believe you have improved substantially.

I also believe it’s too late in the Season to get out of the play in.

The play in could actually help. As I posted above, this team still has to get used to each other which requires time together on the court. A couple of extra games to do that isn't really a bad thing.

It's also a couple of extra games where AD or Lebron could get hurt..but that's the position they've put themselves in.

See, this shit should be enough to know you should pass.

Westbrook is the guy who looks like a good catch on paper.

But, ends up cheating on every girlfriend he’s ever had.

You can’t change folks, they have to want to do that on their own.

He Doesnt.

I think it was Nick Wright who said today what most of us have been saying all along...

He said that Westbrooks best use is off the bench playing about 20-25 minutes late 1st quarter through the 3rd quarter. That's it. He can't be trusted in the 4th quarter.
