5'9" @ 175 and he benches 225# 20+ times???

That's some serious farm boy strong there, cause there is some OL guys that would like some of that strength.

Some more from "The Draft Network"...health issues...
Maybe in the third.

Rondale Moore should be considered one of the 2021 NFL Draft’s most electric prospects, but he’s also one of the biggest wildcards in the process. When healthy, Moore is a multi-purpose weapon who can break open a football game with any touch of the football; he’s provided run after catch, special teams plays, rushing usage out of the backfield, and vertical receiving over the middle of the field. There isn’t a lot that Moore cannot do. But Moore, for all of his merits and gifts as an athlete, has endured significant durability issues throughout his three years at Purdue, and any NFL team drafting him is effectively doing so based on the play he put on display in 2018 as a true freshman when he arrived on the scene in a big way and embarrassed Ohio State on his way to becoming a household name. Moore has played in just seven football games over the last two seasons on account of injuries, leaving durability as a major red flag that must be vetted—and even then may be a disqualifier for some when pairing that with his stature. Not dissimilar to how the process treated Colorado’s Laviska Shenault in 2020, Moore may be a victim of his own versatility and medical flags and be pegged as simply an offensive weapon by some teams, watering down his draft-day value. If you could guarantee you’ll get your hands on a fully healthy Moore, you’re getting a game-breaker who may win you a handful of football games by individual efforts in any season—he’s that dynamic. But the tightrope act that whichever team selects him must walk is balancing as big of a role as possible for him without exposing him to the wear and tear that will routinely cut his season short.

Ideal Role: Swiss Army knife; return specialist with a rotational role in the offensive game plan.

Scheme Fit: Spread offense with a creative play-caller.

Purdue used him wherever and when they could and nearly got him killed. He's the kind of kid that will whatever the coach asks him to do including selling hot dogs when the defense is on the field. Against OSU he returned kick offs and punts, played the slot, played half back.

He will not be asked to do that in the NFL. He's exactly the kind of player that BB loves. His injuries were sprains and severe whacks and bruises. Give him the JE11 slot position and he'll destroy CBs and LBs that try to keep up. I saw something where he took off at the top of the key and dunked a basketball.

I saw him play twice on Tv and fell in love with the guy.

One other thing................................He's a great person off the field. Never had one incident of any kind of trouble. People who meet him are blown away. May be too good to be true.

Ugh.... Was really happy with everything you said right up until your last point.....

Then again it doesn't matter how good he is if the Pats have no one to throw him the ball

Sounds like a perfect mid round pick. He'll get injured in Camp. Become the NE returner in 2023 just to blow out a knee.

Or maybe playing just one position instead of six, he won't get hit quite as often. Misuse leads to abuse. Piss poor coaching isn't good for anyone. Football is the ultimate team sport and to try to have one player do everything will destroy that player.

Pop warner, you can get away with it because your star is usually exceptional and not many kids are comparable. Once they get past the sighth grade, it will get them seriously hurt.

I'd still try him i the slot.

Then I like him too, as long as he can stay healthy.
He sounds like a mini Corderralle Patterson.

Just saw a mock the had the Pats taking Waddle at 15 over Mac, basically stating they could not see BB taking a QB that early, If that holds true what QB is worth a shot Round 2 /3 or beyond? Brock Purdy Iowa State comes to mind

Wow lots of trades.
If it rolls out this way I like that pick for NE along with getting the extra picks.

Don't want to see BB going QB or WR at 15 unless one of the top four QBs are still there? Would love to see them get Pitts just not sure he gets past the Gspots?

I am so unsure why prognosticators are so caught up with Trask I will be surprised if he goes before round 3 or 4.

Do you really think all these trades might happen? I would say any "could" but going on the limb and saying any one might happen is a reach.

With that said, that's as reasonable as anyone else's.

I cannot see the Phins doing this. There is already talk of Tua not being an NFL caliber QB so they may want to kick the tires on that kid from BYU or Lance or Mac Jones. If they keep Tua and don't target a QB they can land Smith WR from Bama and then at 18 get a RB or TE and improve that offense really fast. The D is solid enough

Right now, every prognosticator thinks that the draft is 100% stable. I personally believe that there is a lot of management turmoil with staffs trying to figure out how they will deal with the reduced cap. If the rumor about the cap being $160M, instad of frozen at $198.6M, then there will be some pretty severe cutting going on. Because teams like the Saints will be close to $100M over the cap, they won't let anyone get away with even $20. There are going to be a lot of enemies created .

That said, If the cap does come in at $180M, the patriots will have between $58M -$62M to spend. My guess is that Stephon Gilmore is going to get moved and create another $16M in space. Prediction: Patriots sign CB Richard Sherman 2 years $28M $20M Guaranteed. They'll try for Bengals CB William Jackson III but the Bengals will come back with an offer over $16M a year.

Back to the draft...............Patriots will take a WR in Round 2 unless Mac Jones slides, which I don't think he will do. My gut says that Kadarius Toney of Florida will slip because someone will start drafting TEs earlier than expected and the lemmings will follow.

The Patriots will have two Compensatory picks in Round 3 and that's where BB will take one of three QBs available.
Kellen Mond, QB, Texas A&M
Height: 6-4. Weight: 225.

Feleipe Franks, QB, Arkansas
Height: 6-5. Weight: 227.

K.J. Costello, QB, Mississippi State
Height: 6-5. Weight: 215.

With the second Compensatory he'll take TE Kylen Granson SMU.

Franks was at UF and could not take the job from Trask so I would say buyer beware in regard to him. Mond is a possibility still has a ceiling and the size i prefer. I have done little research on Costello yet.

I would sure hate passing on Mac Jones if he is there. BB needs to realize he got shit ass lucky with TB12 he ain't no QB Whisperer and a lot of guys that were drafted by BB and left for another team have not panned out. He IMO needs to take a QB early when the pool still has some keepers.

I agree we need a DT was hoping more for a FA Vet.

As far as Jones goes, I'm willing to bet a lot will have to do with what Saben tells Coach B. If Saben is sold on Jones being a starter in the NFL i could see us drafting him in round 1. If Saben has his doubts we will pass.

And there are some doubts to be had he had four pretty flippin good weapons on his offense and arguably the best O Line in college football
