Outside of New York, most are praising the Pats draft and ranking them at or near the top.

Curious article. Two positive comments and one negative, but the article gives the impression that the negative comment was an outlier. Also, the positive comments included praises about specific skills but the negative offered the same generic criticisms we heard throughout the pre-draft (guys around him made him look better).

So, at worst we have a guy who will be as good as the team they put around him... Hmmmm, sounds like he's a guy who won't fuck it up... which is a pretty damn good quality for a QB. As opposed to Cam, in which his best games last year all seemed to end with him fucking things up...

While playing at Mizzou, Joshua Bledsoe was asked to man cover the best WR on opposing teams. He's covered nearly all of the WR takrn in the first round of the 2021 draft. From the results, he did it very well. One NFL executive said that wasn't overlooked, it was just that other teams seemed to need different positions. He als said that when the Patriots took him heads dropped into hands across the NFL War Rooms.

He was a great pick up at a position of need. I am hesitant of all college guys coming in but you have to hope for the best.

I feel all picks are a risk I also feel we need a kicker I don't see 4th or 5th as a reach for a position of need
