The OL is the biggest ? imo.

If they come through it could be another good season.....if not.....5-11 or 6-10.
Pff has them ranked 31st.

Damnit @FaCe-LeE-uS it is spilly time. Get on the train.

Noooooooo! Vince was one of my favorites. The guy played with heart and let everything out on the field. He will sorely be missed. So much for depth at ILB.

Aw, dang.

He seemed excited to play again this season. Something must have happened with him.
I've heard speculation that he failed his physical and the Steelers didn't want him going out that way so they let him retire.

Picture makes me sad... One of the bigger what-ifs for the Steelers in the last decade

Salary Cap implications...

Since they already released him this offseason they incurred a dead hit of $3m. His new contract has $0 dead hit and his retirement only saves roughly $850k. Which brings his total cap hit closer to $2.15m.

After Melvin Ingram signed & Vince's retirement the Steelers should be sitting somewhere around $11m in cap space.

Unvaccinated players have become huge HUGE liabilities.

This is going to affect mostly roster bubble guys and FA's.

Holy shit... I mean.... I'm pro-vax but that seems a touch harsh.

They don't force the vax, but they will take away your money if you don't vax lol.

And also you can't cut a player purely for being unvaxxed.

Puts teams in a tough spot. If the Bills want to cut Beasely, for example, they will need to lie and find a reason to say it was for play or financial.

Initial depth chart… which means jack diddly but
  • JCH is starter at Center. But Tomlin said Green will start the HOF game. Meaning they want to get an early look at him.
  • Haskins is QB3 over Dobbs
  • Brooks Jr is the starter at slot CB
  • No surprise… Highsmith at ROLB.

Not sure they would claim him off waivers, but honestly I would. I like what he bring to the table moreso than Cassius Marsh. Or he can simply provide better competition over camp-bodies like Jamir Jones or Jamar Watson.
