How? These guys are always banged up and not getting younger
Always is a stretch. Only Kyrie really historically, and KD should be fine moving forward.

Meh. It's gonna be Giannis fairly soon. Looks like he will be there all or most of his career for one thing.Almost. What Giannis has accomplished so far is incredible. But it still doesn't match Kareem's accomplishments in Milwaukee.
KAJ's numbers (6 years): 30.4 ppg, 15.3 rebs, 4.3 asts, 1.2 stls, 3.4 blks
Giannis (8 years): 20.9, 9.1, 4.5, 1.2, 1.3

So buckalis was prescientThat's the way it's looking. But he hasn't surpassed Kareem's accomplishments in Milwaukee yet.
No, I'm saying he was prescient, meaning he was just early in recognizing what we all will recognize at some point.Sure. If you choose to believe that Giannis is now the best Bucks player in franchise history. He should be at some point, but he's not there yet.

And yet....There's no way he passes Kareem's rebound and block averages, and probably not ppg either.
And yet....
Giannis won his title in an era with far better talent, and he didn't need another all time great by his side (Oscar). And if he wins another there the debate is over.
Not YETThe debate is already over. KAJ is in the discussion for GOAT. Giannis is not.

LOL you are a trip sometimes. So you're giving buckyboy credit for something that hasn't happened. Giannis should become the Bucks best player in team history. But he's not there yet.
To be fair the argument wasn't KAJ or Giannis all time, it was best Buck. Kareem only played for the bucks for 6 seasons. He won 1 title with two other hall of famers, Oscar Robertson and Bob Dandridge on the team. He won 3 MVP's in that span to Giannis' 2, but Giannis also has a DPOY. All NBA teams are very similar.
It's not a crazy argument at this point. Kareem did more in less years, but as of now I think there is a debate to be had.
Solid? Probably, but so far his record has been slightly better than mediocre. Not even sure he gets to .500 by end of next season...especially if CP leaves.Monty is solid imo
Totally agree with that first comment, but it's true of many coaches. Get them talent they might win. Don't and they wont.Win percentage is not a good way to evaluate a coach. Have to take roster into proper context.
Saying he is a better coach than Bud isn’t a very high bar.
I don’t think Bud is a bad coach, just seems like a very average NBA coach. Monte Williams might be better than that.
Time will tell.
Sure. If you choose to believe that Giannis is now the best Bucks player in franchise history. He should be at some point, but he's not there yet.
I am not even sure he can get there if we are being honest.
Kareem is legit in the GOAT conversation. And by far his best years were in Milwaukee. He was hands down the best player in the NBA for a decade.
Giannis has been in the conversation for best player for a few years now, but if we are being objective, I don’t see how Giannis’ accomplishments in Milwaukee are even in the ball park of Kareem’s.
