They do that every year. It means nothing. Obviously the Raptors don't win in 2019 vs a full Warriors squad. Still a great accomplishment and a legit title.
Honestly the Suns look strong enough to still be #1 with everyone else healthier.Exactly...I doubt the Suns have the #1 record in the West if every team is healthy, but they aren't. Doesn't take anything away from the Suns being #1, just means I'm not recanting the post of mine that was quoted.
Last years run that the Suns had is still a great run. Like you said about the Raptors, they don't win if the Warriors are healthy...last year, the Lakers were up in the series and the Suns had no answer for AD, but AD got hurt, the rest of the Lakers didn't step up and the Suns made a great run. It's just part of the story of the season.
They get reminded of it now, because it just happened last year...but 5-10 years from now...all anyone will remember is that the Suns were in the finals.

How many more losses do you think they have now?Meh, I'm not convinced. If teams were just missing role players, even important ones and the Suns were doing this, I'd agree. But teams have lost their top 1 or 2 players for significant periods of time and lost role players as well.
Ahhhh. Of course.Have any of the teams I mentioned been healthy?
Wow, you’re really bringing your A game.Well let's see here.
Lakers- nope
Clippers- nope
Warriors- nope
Jazz- nope
But that won't matter to him. He seems like the type of person that thinks the Earth is flat.
This is true, but the Suns had their own injury issues. Paul was out for a some time and Booker wearing that creepy mask with a broken nose, which clearly affected his shot.Injuries helped you get as far as you did last year. This year your team is stronger. But injuries play a role in almost every championship, it's just how the game works. 2021 was especially injury plagued among the playoff teams. Doesn't diminish anyone's title.
No doubt. There is no 'injury thing'. A championship is a championship. But to say injuries don't affect outcomes is silly. Being a champion is often about being a healthy team. And yes, teams that sign old or injury prone guys are taking a risk. This is true, but the Suns had their own injury issues. Paul was out for a some time and Booker wearing that creepy mask with a broken nose, which clearly affected his shot.
Even this year they were without Booker for a stretch, Ayton was out for a while, Crowder was out for a while, Cam Payne is still out.
This injury thing is stupid. Teams trying to buy championships by signing older and injury prone players have to deal with the consequences.
CP played in 70 games last season.....as injury prone as he is? That's damn near a full season for him. This is true, but the Suns had their own injury issues. Paul was out for a some time and Booker wearing that creepy mask with a broken nose, which clearly affected his shot.

Ahhhh. Of course.
So the Suns would be the 6 seed if those other teams were healthy. I’m sure they would all be on pace to win 65+ games.
I don’t think anybody is saying injuries don’t affect outcomes. At least I hope not.No doubt. There is no 'injury thing'. A championship is a championship. I watched that high voltage match. Milwaukee Bucks won this match. Some of these players played well.
Giannis Antetokounmpo played well in this match.

Suns when through their own stretch of injuries so I figure that has to mean something, No?
