Philly fans can be shitty no question. But I don't see any good reason why the wife of a NBA player should be perusing Twitter like that.

FTR, I hold no allegiance to the city of Philadelphia. I became a Sixers fan because I lived in Marlton NJ when I was very young and I stuck with them for the last 45 years. But I have lived in the New York area for much of those 45 years and New York fans aren't really any better.

Well shit. "Significant Achilles injury" = tear. Only reason they aren't saying tear is because they haven't officially done the test to confirm it.
I gotta say, this might be too much easy meat for that @WiggyRuss troll to pass on.

Might see him back here soon LOL

Horrible news for basketball fans.

Lakers might have just dodged their toughest competition in the West.

Looks like LAL and LAC for now. Let’s see if another contender can emerge out of free agency.

Philly getting much needed shooters

I forgot what a competent GM looks like.

Own it, brother.

Unless this is a prelude to a bigger deal I hate this trade.
Replace Josh Richardson with Seth Curry.
J-Rich (and Horford, for that matter) was not a good fit here.
Inefficient offense, not quite a good as of a defender as we thought we were getting, injury prone, and on an expiring contract.

Curry is a known quantity. Hyper-efficient offense (Embiid-Redick DHO can now be a thing again). High value contract.

I believe both moves also move us that much closer to the cap limit.
If we go under, that opens up the MLE.

What you got going on food wise? Made some sweet italian sausage, tomatoes and white beans earlier for dinner.
Had a couple beef, bean and cheese burritos with red sauce from Taco John's before the draft started.

Paying the price on the toilet right now.

Golden State's window closed?

KD gone. Thompson back to back serious injuries and Curry is injury prone.

Just remind him that the Heat and Lakers made the Finals and that the Cavs are stuck in idle with nowhere to go. You wouldn't be lying.

Why is Steph injury prone? He broke his hand, it happens. Tears on the other hand are serious. Klay has a torn ACL and worst, a (possible) torn achilles. The achilles is something you rarely see an athlete fully recover from. Klay could theoretically go 2 straight NBA seasons without playing. That's a long time.
