Harden to the Nets is a bigger trainwreck unless the Nets are trading Irving to get him. Irving and Harden are both ball dominant guards....doubt that would work very well.

If those dumbasses wanted to win, then they should have just stayed in OKC...

Quite different scenario for Harden.

Harden was a 6th man back then. He didn't just wanna get paid, he wanted a chance to be the guy. Hes had his run of gaudy MVP numbers. He wants to better set himself up for a ring.

I think its pretty cool the dude straight up shot down a cool 50 mil a year. Will it work in Brooklyn with a guy like Kyrie, very up in the air. But the guy is willing to risk it to win.

The problem is with Harden on the Nets is Kyrie, plain and simple. Kyrie brings the ball up and when he doesn't KD will be. Harden is the PG and has been since he's been in Houston. So who is bringing up the ball and setting the offense up. Even in CLE Kyrie did that and then of course James would a lot too but it was mainly Kyrie. They can win a ton of games on talent alone bc they would have 3 great players....might not even need great chemistry to win in the regular season. But in the playoffs there could be real issues...especially with their roles. They aren't paying one of those star players to come off the bench, all would be starters and get high minutes and have to learn how to play together. On paper the best team without a doubt, it definitely would be interesting...but I feel Kyrie would be the issue here.

Maybe, but if they were smart they would make it work. Either way, you do the deal because you "net" 3 stars. If it doesn't work, one of them can easily be moved for another star. How happy would the Bucs be if they got Harden in return...for say Giannis. Would the bucks even be that much worse off with that swap, i'm not sure? Either way i would do the deal...Worry about the problems later...Stars can always be moved, much easier than role players and worthless draft picks
