Didnt feel like a new thread so putting this here.

Since we have had new uniforms each of the last decades, is it time to start looking for a revamp? 2002, 2012, 2022?

I want something like this with a few minor tweaks:

EVvieXyWAAEMouk

Same... That uni right there is bad ass... I love that look... I know RW has been asking the team to bring these back...

With LA Mayor suspending large crowd gatherings thru 2021, what does that mean for the NFL and Sports in General? LA has 2 NFL teams...

I think the NFL would like to start at half filled stadiums but in LAs case they may not have a choice and play in empty stadiums.

Not to many have noticed my new avatar, Russell in a throw back. I like the Hawks Uni's they have now but i would with out a doubt LOVE to see them have a throwback. 2021 when the new Helmet rule goes into effect i assume they will do it.

Still lots of things to figure out. Sounds like MLB may be the first major sports league to try to get some games going, so we'll see what that looks like. If the NFL makes a plan to have a season with measures in place to minimize risk (games with no fans?) then I bet all cities/teams will figure out how to make it work. That TV money is just too appealing to not do anything. They could probably make some sort of ppv thing and make up all $ they lose from having fans or close to it. People will be so starved for live sports that they'll pay money to watch a football game on tv that would normally be free. I know I would.

My main concern with this would be wondering if my Rick Mirer PTSD would kick in when Russell trots out of the tunnel.

I think it might be just the cure you need

FTR, they have the cap space to bring back Clowney or sign Griffen. The cap is fungible and teams almost never get into cap hell these days unless something really shocking happens.

That's true. I know the team can work magic with it, but I don't know all the rules with it.

I like having Dunbar, Griffin, Amadi and Flowers as corners. I could see Blair take a step up next season. He showed promise along with inexperience last year.

Bradly McDougald has always been solid as a SS/FS and I think they'll probably ride him until his contract expires.

Perhaps. But I really don't think the team is that cap constrained right now.

Sort of goes back to the whole working magic with the cap.

I like our current uniforms and have no complaints, but I love that look. I'd rather us wear something like that as an alternate instead of that neon green outfit.

I think that once things start to settle down a bit, they'll back down on that. Frankly, that decision is very premature and if I had to guess is just a precaution and an attempt to look proactive in addressing this issue.

Seems like the Hawks would be the last trade partner the Niners would want to help make better in a deal that addresses our top weakness.

Back in the day this would be true but now it's all about loading up on picks and if the Hawks have the best deal they'll make the trade.

18 offensive lineman on the roster now, that makes me feel like drafting a olineman may not happen on the first 2 days. I mean that is so many bodies they could make 3 full olines with 3 left over. Lets hope just having so many bodies to throw at the wall we get 5 that stick.
