It is very fun to watch a team that can score regardless of which line and pair is on the ice.

Had to chuckle to myself when Pierre talked about a mismatch when the Malkin line was out against the Flyers 4th line in the 1st period, assuming that was probably intentional from AV. Pierre ate his words later in the game when he realized that was the matchup AV was chasing. And they won it.

Damn this team looks good. I know it's the first game of the season, but that score didn't show how dominant we are over the Pens. My only nitpick here is Carter Hart needs to work on his handling of the puck. Granted, Sid made an amazing play there and many players don't make that play. The kids are making this team fun to watch.

That was a terrible goal given up by Hart

Yep fantastic start and nice to see guys like Patrick, Lindblom, JVR and Gus contribute. If those guys play solid this year watch out. Definitely some rust but that's to be expected with no preseason. Suck it penqueens!!!

You forgot Raffl. Our 4th line is very good this year.

Too bad he is playing at one speed and his linemate is playing in slow motion.

The thing I like though since we’ve seen AV hockey is that they get pucks through. How many years have we seen DMen play where the puck comes to the point and it’s wasted cause they can’t get pucks through? Biggest change for me with DMen play under AV.

Didn't stay up for it, but how about the Blues win over Avs..... I listened to NHL on satellite for a couple of hours yesterday early ---- every analyst has anointed the Avs as Cup winners. It's one game, but good for the Blues (and Berube)
