Whenever they lose is always a good day for me.Rags off to a dreadful start tonight
Shersterkin in particular. Serves them right for hyping the shit out of him.

Where did I say he was getting it done last year Las? I simply said he's off to a good start. He did his job on the PP and scored a goal. That's expected of him or yes he should sit in the presser. If he does more even better. No different than the 4th line if those guys break even against Malkin I consider it a win. If they score great but I don't fail them if they don't as that's not their role on the team. Either way be happy with the good start even by players you hate...
I saw a story that said Gus looked dreadful in the defensive end. I didnt notice that he was dreadful. Did i miss that? Ill have watch him closer tonight.
What happens when Ghost is ready to play?
I say he goes, he wasn't noticeable in the game so why not risk it lol.If the camp pairs were any indication, Ghost would come in and Braun would sit as the 7th dman. That's how they were running the pairs until Ghost went on COVID protocol.
But now that the season is started, hockey coaches love to "stick with what works", so if the Flyers keep winning, Braun would stay in is my guess.
I did notice that turnover but i wouldnt use the word dreadful to describe his play in the defensive zone like the article stated. I am going to have to watch closer going forward.Lots of turnovers. I don't remember which goal it was, but one was directly a result of Gus turning it over at the blueline.
He is the definition of high risk, high reward haha
Braun was responsible for the first goal and i was pissed at him 5 minutes into the game but he rebounded and played half decent after that. I would think he sticks with Braun until he screws up playing on the top pair (which i expect to be very soon). If the camp pairs were any indication, Ghost would come in and Braun would sit as the 7th dman. Agree Stay with what works.I say he goes, he wasn't noticeable in the game so why not risk it lol.
No I meant put Ghost in lol. Braun wasn't outstanding so unless you're concerned about chemistry then play Ghost. He has way more upside then Braun.Agree Stay with what works.

Sacrifice Gus for the good of the team. Use him as a crash course dummy.Agreed.
PK gets thin without Braun in the lineup, that'd be the hesitation. Then Provorov/Hagg/Myers/Sanheim are your 4 PK guys. If one of them is in the box you're living dangerously with Gus or Ghost out there IMO.
Was just about to comment Braun’s value lies in the PK.Agreed.

Dont worry he will play himself out of the line up soon.No I meant put Ghost in lol. Braun wasn't outstanding so unless you're concerned about chemistry then play Ghost. He has way more upside then Braun.
Our forwards are the main ingredient on our PK. Braun back there is doing very much. It wouldnt be so bad to have Ghost or Gus out there every once in a while where that scenario would occur. At least Gus and Ghost are strong enough to shoot the puck high off the boards and get it out. I cant tell you how many times Braun doesnt get the puck out of the zone from below the goal line.,Agreed.

We are going tp be so far out in front of the pack we wont need to add anyone.,Now if we could somehow pull this off could solve our problems.
Does Keith Yandle make sense for the Flyers?
The veteran defenseman looks to be on his way out of Florida.www.broadstreethockey.com
