Someone had a quote from AV yesterday that said they would play with that a little bit. Sounds like they'll use someone else with Provy for offensive zone starts. The logical one there, with Ghost out, would be Gustafsson. Then Braun gets the NZ and DZ starts with Provy.

Certainly not ideal, but it could be OK.

That would be huge, but what if one of the Canadian teams ends up being a seller at the deadline? Would that player be able to cross state lines to play? Seems like it could get tricky.

I think they'd have to quarantine before getting into the lineup. But I think it will still be manageable.

Always have to look for guys that will be UFA in the summer for deadline rentals. Couple names that stand out on teams that could be on the outside looking in.

Great solid 2nd and 3rd periods. All 4 lines got rolling and this is what could be all season long. Defense looked good over all. Liking what I've seen so far.

Damn this team looks good. I know it's the first game of the season, but that score didn't show how dominant we are over the Pens. My only nitpick here is Carter Hart needs to work on his handling of the puck. Granted, Sid made an amazing play there and many players don't make that play. The kids are making this team fun to watch.

Yep fantastic start and nice to see guys like Patrick, Lindblom, JVR and Gus contribute. If those guys play solid this year watch out. Definitely some rust but that's to be expected with no preseason. Suck it penqueens!!!
