They can if they invoke covid lock downs. I love hockey but kind of miss seeing fans or being able to attend. On the other hand covid may well dissappear after the elections over.I will agree with the first part but im not sure they can cancel hockey. We will get ready to go Jan 1st hopefully!
Hiow many years away do you think he will be to make it up to the big team? He's been tearing it up. Saw lots of tweets about him over the weekend. Great start for the kid.
He can take JVR’s place today as far as I’m concerned.Hiow many years away do you think he will be to make it up to the big team?

Btw. He will be called “Destroyer” by yours truly. He's got a long way to go I think. According to this article (NHL Draft Pick Probabilities) only 15% of 5th rounders play > 99 games in the NHL. So he's still got a long way to go to beat those odds at all.
But if things do go smoothly and he keeps getting better and better, I would expect this year and next year in the QMJHL. The year after with the Phantoms. And then we could start talking about being on the NHL/AHL bubble at training camp in 2023. But that's probably a best case scenario. Morgan Frost was drafted in 2017, spent '17-'18 and '18-'19 in the OHL, '19-'20 primarily in the AHL, and going into the '20-'21 season we're talking about him on the bubble. And he's a first rounder. Lindblom was also a 5th rounder, he took 3.5 years after his draft to make the NHL. His only real knock was skating though and he got that under control.
So if I were a betting man, if Desnoyers makes the NHL, I'd bet it'd be in 2024.
I was thinking more in terms of him sweetening the pot in a trade we might want to make. 2024 is too long for him to be added to a trade. He's got a long way to go I think. Your father was a hamster.........Lol! That's what I wanted his name to sound like. I was very disappointed when I heard it pronounced day-noy-yay. Silly French.
NHL entering crucial stretch in planning for next season
The next couple weeks should be busy around the NHL. Elliotte Friedman updates where things stand as the league plans for next season.www.sportsnet.ca
Man I think we're going to have the shortened season version.
Im good with 72 games. We aren't missing that much and it keeps the old men Gee and Jake fresher. The problem i have with this season is with this current defense we aren't cup contenders.NHL entering crucial stretch in planning for next season
