That was a beautiful comeback win, but imagine if we had played the entire game the way we did in the 3rd and brief OT. It would've been an absolute blowout in our favor. The Sabres are just fucking terrible. We wake up to play about 21 minutes of roughly a 61 minute game and still beat them 4-3.

Oh absolutely. If they played at that level even 50% of games they’d win most of their games. It’s ridiculous.

This team has major issues. Obviously. But another W that the veteran players carry them to. It’s the only type of win they’re getting this year.

Im just saying. Giroux and the vets get roasted after every single game and they don’t deserve the amount of blame they get. The team sucks most nights. All of them. The core included. But not giving them credit when it’s due is total hypocrisy.

I'm saying it's time for new blood and new faces. Not holding the vets 100% accountable, but let's be honest, when was the last time you really saw any accountability on this team?

Yes. Wednesday should be interesting. Normally in this position with only 22 games remaining we'd have next to zero shot at the playoffs, but considering 13 of those games are against the teams ahead of us in the standings, anything is possible if we start playing well.

On a good note Morin hasn't looked out of place. Seems like the only guy who is trying his hardest out there very hungry. I just don't understand why he wasn't given a chance on D sooner especially when they had nothing but disaster out there.

Well biggest reason is he's had injury after injury and is slower than Darrien Hatcher. But he's worked on his skating and wanted to make a jump to winger, so why Fletcher thought he brought in the right personal, and then found out he didn't well it kind of opened up doors for all sorts of shit!

My biggest fear is if at this point Fletcher is convinced this team can compete for a playoff spot. I'm afraid he will make a drastic trade only to loose valuable pieces to use on better options down the road. If it takes you 2 periods to get warmed up against a team whom have lost 17 games in a row, you might as well not take the ice for the team on a 9 game win streak, hang on to your hats gents, it's going to be a bumpy ride.

Ugh! I don't even feel good about this win. Can you imagine being a team so bad and blowing a 3-0 lead halfway through the final period and to lose in OT? How awful must you feel to be a Sabre fan? I thought for sure we were looking to lose this game.

What credit do they deserve? I cant give credit for playing 20 minutes of a 60 minute game against one of the worst teams in decades.

I will agree with this. I also thought he played pretty good besides the first goal.
