I've seen beer vending machines in both Amsterdam and Western Germany.

Work weeks are roughly the same, but most European countries do actually make you take 28 days (4 weeks) of paid vacation each month.

Lived in the UK between 1998 and 2016 so I don't know what the rest of Europe did during that time but yeah I saved them up each year and take a months vacation.
