Watching the Townsend match today. First obese professional tennis player I've ever seen.

he didn't just snatch the towel from the ballboy. that happens a lot when players get frustrated, but medvedev actually said something vocally to the ballboy and glared at him as he ripped the towel from the ballboy and threw it in the air.

here's a link to the video

Medvedev loses his cool at ball boy

i don't care about him flipping off the crowd, but doing that to a volunteer is ridiculous.

The fact that he had no regrets about his actions makes him hard to root for the rest of the tourney

kyrgios would've gotten defaulted almost for sure.

1. treating the ballboy like that
2. throwing the racquet
3. the tournament ref would probably go back and look at the footage of him flipping off the crowd.

medvedev's first time with this kind of behavior, so he gets a little more leeway, i'm betting

the thing i find funny is that medvedev acted like he accomplished something great with his win. the crowd was pretty quiet in the 3rd and 4th sets, and lopez clearly had a hip injury of some sort going on.

i think he'll probably destroy koepfer in the next round, but the new york crowd will have a really good time watching him lose when/if it does happen. he has the talent to win the whole thing, though.

All of Zverev matches at majors are never easy.

Forced to a 5th set in his first 2 matches and now his match today is a best of 3 after he somehow dropped the first set after going up 5-2.

So the big 3 all with tough 4th round matches.

Fed vs Goffin
Djoker vs Wawrinka
Rafa vs Cilic

O/U # of sets they will lose?

I'm going with 4

One of these matches will go 5 and the other 2 go 4 IMO

That Gauff forehand is bad. She will be a much better player in 2 or 3 years.

That was horrible from Kyrgios. Up 4-0 in the tiebreak and loses the set. Now down 2 sets.

LOL at calling him a ball "BOY" though. Dude looks like he is 32 years old.

He is such a clown. Had a great chance to make it deep at a GS for the first time in forever. What a letdown he was last night.

Wouldn't be surprised if espn intentionally put Rinaldi on that match
