watching koepfer drive basilashvili (17 seed) absolutely nuts with his retrieving.
he's up 2 sets to none, but down a break in the 3rd
koepfer's not that powerful off the baseline, but he can change the direction of the ball really well, and he has a very good 1st serve.

I like Lopez, but to me, he didn't seem to pose that much of a threat to force a 5th.

townsend/cirstea going on right now, and there have been 4 consecutive breaks of serve all in the first 5 games
good luck with a serve/volley playstyle if you get your first serve in less than 50% of the time, and your second serve blows.
cirstea's 2nd serve rarely gets over 74 mph, but it's a little more understandable from her since she's a backboard.
townsend's crosscout backhand is a real weapon, though. i really think she can contend for majors if she drops 15 lbs and continues to work on her serve.
