Nothing extravagant this year with a new baby due in Spring. But we’d like to get out to Leavenworth, Portland, Seattle & a camping trip to Yellowstone. We’ll have to wait & see how things unfold with the baby before making concrete plans. May just put that travel money into more home remodeling.

Do you ever get the unnerving feeling you forgot to pay a resort or book a flight between destinations? I think I've checked 30 times & still have that stupid feeling.

Nothing big so far. Black Mesa State park in March. (Might sound strange but it's the last State Park in Oklahoma we haven't seen)
Nashville in July.
I've been going back and forth for months on a Viking river cruise from Switzerland to Germany in December for Christmas. More than likely that one will be next year.
Possible additions could be either Mackinac Island or the Outer Banks.

I got 7 yr old and a 3.5 yr old.....soooo...Disneyland...AGAIN.

2 hours in a plane is all I can stomach with em', so we just go to disneyland every year.

Put in to float the Smith river in early June. One put in, one takeout...57 mile stretch of river. Should take 4 to 5 days. Kinda stoked bout that.

Well, heading to Chicago for St Patty's day. Hopefully this year is similar to last. Going to the same bar.

Last year had some afternoon fun with a chick before heading back out for the evening.

decided that I am going to Portland Maine for a couple days with some college buddies to do some brewery hopping, check out Acadia, and who knows what else. I would love to bring my golf clubs, but I don't think either of them play, so I would be on my own. Might take my fly rod instead.

Bissell and Maine are very good. I've heard Austin street was good too.

Bissell is definitely on my list. I have had a couple of their beers and liked them

Maine is on there as well

Norwegian Cruise in June/July: England, Scotland and Ireland. Will spend a few days in and around London before we head out of South Hampton. Daughter is a big Harry Potter nerd so we will likely do the Studio Tour and whatever else she comes up with. Not sure how a I feel about the the cruise thing, but my In-Laws planned it for the entire family so it is what it is. Will be the first overseas trip for my kids so it will be exciting for them.

My wife and I will probably plan something in the Fall. Waiting to see if Pearl Jam has a Tour planned for the back half of the year. Our 20 is next year so we may even hold off and wait till next year to do something together.

Just came back from my trip to Malaysia then went to an island called Langkawi I ate some cheap food, played with monkeys, drank on the beach it was all a good time.

Everyone seems to want to go to Europe but I think its a little overrated I love going places where the American dollar goes far so I can stay in nice hotels, eat good, and have that feeling that I can do almost whatever I want because my budget is huge

Spanking monkey on an island?

I could roll with that.

Okay, got my side trips to Israel and Jordan set up. Hoping I don't face another year of the Israeli closing the border on us.

Does anybody use credit cards where the primary reward is travel points? I have gone on many trips for free because I built up so much points by using my credit card to pay for everything. I have been to Washington DC, Italy, Netherlands, Malaysia, China, rented cars, etc. The card I use is the chase sapphire reserve

I just got the Chase Sapphire Preferred card for the travel points. I don't plan on keeping it after the annual fee kicks in, but for now I am using it as my primary card.

high roller over here with the Reserve card
