Disney World/Universal Orlando sometime in the next 2 months. Probably going to go different than usual and rent a house rather than using points at the Swan/Dolphin or staying onsite.

LA golf trip in July

Looking at a Thanksgiving Disney Cruise. Not sure I can think of a better Thanksgiving than sitting on the beach at Castaway Cay.

and 15-20 trips to Racine, WI... yuck.

Didn’t see this thread till now. I was in Nashville in March for a long weekend with some friends from college. Left on a Friday morning early and came back Tuesday.

Just got back from No Cal a few weeks ago...did Napa, Sacramento, and SF.

I could live in Sac...smaller town but still a large enough to cage my vices...SF we enjoyed most of it, but imo it's really only fit for visiting...far too many "free spirit" types out there for me.

I hear SF streets aren’t vary clean because many streets are used as outdoor “restrooms” by those free spirit types and homeless.

We might've caught them on a good day...we were downtown SF and the Pier 39 area...quite a bit of walking around but fortunately we didn't experience the outdoor bathroom situation. We heard about that in Paris as well (mostly from pets) and while we did see that, it wasn't on the level we were expecting.

Wife n I booked a vacation from hell to the Dominican Republic.....lol

With all the stories about people dying from drinking at the minibars,it has still not sunk into my mind about not going....

Wifes family is very leery of us not going,along with a couple guys from work,but hey whaddya do.....lol

It's in the back of mind but hell with it,ready for some sun and relaxation for 5 days.....

you should have checked Scotts Cheap Flights. I think they have an Amsterdam deal on there right now

I did. That's where I saw it. The cheapest I could have got it was $569, I think, but I paid $50 more for slightly better flexibility.

I used SCF/Google, then went to Chase to book it. Same cost, but I get 25% more use out of my points if I book through Chase.

I used 49,499 points on a trip that cost 618.74, taxes and bags included. I can pay extra to choose a seat...not sure if I will end up doing that. Since it's an overnight, I might so I can sleep against the window.

Looks like I'm taking the daughter unit to Komodo in September.

Wanted to go back, just didn't expect it would be this soon.
