N'Keal Harry to IR and Thomas is resigned.

Welcome back DT. Good deal bringing him back. As for Harry he needs to get that hammy right. Luckily NE has an abundance of talent at the WR position and the luxury of not rushing him back.

That’s not just NE, though. Most of the guys that played for NYG on Thursday got cut, too. The QB that led their comeback (that a lot of people were hot on to be TB’s successor last year) is on the Eagles’ practice squad now.

Yes but:

Our 2nd, 3rd and 4th string had a lot of decent players. Our O-line has been bad in all 4 games. We had questionable O-line back-up until we signed 3 players a few days ago.
Crossen might have a future. Currently he cannot play man and gets targeted immediately upon entering game. Offenses have seen him play now.
Dawson might have been but just can't do it now.

I think another advantage is the first round selection, if I am correct under this CBA that means the Pats have him for 5 years? This being said sitting out on IR 8 or 9 weeks, keeping your face in the playbook, working with coaches and training staff make a lot more sense.

reported, the Patriots informed C Russell Bodine of their intention to release him. Club is also bringing back C/G James Ferentz. Seeking more context to see if this is a short-term move with Game 1/familiarity in system in mind, with a chance Bodine returns.

Ferentreally looked bad in preseason. So did the rest of the O-line. Let's hope his struggles were a result of the poor O-line plaY by backups and not vice-versa.....
