Now it's reported as "The Patriots also traded cornerback Duke Dawson and a sixth-round pick to the Denver Broncos for a fourth-rounder on Friday.

Maybe that upgrades the value to a bag of balls and a keg of Heiny?

Actually, flipping a sixth into a fourth isn't a bad deal for a castoff.

Excellent! We have gotten some decent players and trades for 4th round picks.
Crossen was high motor and gret athlete but could not play man. He might have a chance in texas but not here.
We get a 4th for someone who would be cut.....

I was referring to Duke Dawson, which has been reported as flipping a 7th for a sixth bit now a 6th for a fourth. I believe Crossen returned a sixth straight up...

Crossen was a cut. Getting anything is good.
Getting a 4th for a gimpy CB is good, sort of. If we had the room and time.....

Berrios didn't show enough and is PS eligible.
Scooby never stood a chance. Maybe he is PS eligible?

Hoyer same as Thomas, can wait for us if we need him. Although at this point I don't know that he'll get any offers.....

Most all the good cuts are ours?

Seriously, I rewatched game 4 2nd half. I wanted to definitevly see why we were leading 29-10 and gave up 3 TD's to lose 31 - 29. Simple answer:

After reviewing our list of cuts, virtually everybody playing during the time we scored zero points and gave up 21 was cut.
If you are playing in 4th quarter of game 4 on NE, your agent better be calling around.....

That’s not just NE, though. Most of the guys that played for NYG on Thursday got cut, too. The QB that led their comeback (that a lot of people were hot on to be TB’s successor last year) is on the Eagles’ practice squad now.
