I do both.

I forget what I remembered and remembered what I forgot, usually much too late to do or say anything about it.

But I remember and agreeing with Reb about staying as coach and giving up GM duties.
I also remember me saying that the game was passing him by and that a change was needed.

The media generally leads the charge. They get a ball of snow rolling and allow it to get so large that no one can slow it down. It continues to pick up speed until it hit a tree and explodes into a million pieces. No one can find the ball that started the monster.

Rarely does a coach accept a demotion. Especially when you look at all that Belichick has done to then come to him and say "Hey you are being demoted to now just head coach". There were already plenty of rumors that Belichick and Kraft were not seeing eye to eye on a lot of things so seemed like the divorce was a slow burn for a couple of years.

Bert Breer says that KJ Osborn and Tyquan Thorton are drawing a lot of interest from team before the 11/5 trade deadline.

Panthers are reportedly very interested in both and Breer says that it could be a 2 for 1 swap. Thorton and Osborn to the Panthers for Adam Thielin.

Breer also says that Johnathan Jones is also being sought by several teams.

Patriots are accepting every call on anyone except Maye, Stevenson, Milton, Barmore, Gonzalez, Peppers and several others that just signed long term contracts. After selling Uche so cheaply, they've decided that they won't give away anyone else. . . . . we'll see.

Left tackle Nicholas Petit-Frere may be traded to the New England Patriots before the teams play Sunday according to sources with the Tennessee Titans. No details are available but sources are saying that CB Johnathan Jones and WR Kendrick Bourne may be involved.

Petite- Frere is 25 years old, 6'5" 313# and played at Ohio State.

If he has played left tackle in the NFL, maybe this is a good deal for the Patriots. He certainly is on the younger side. Have no idea if his contract is expiring. That wouldn't be so hot.

Petit-Frere is lightly played, has not had a chance to fill the holes in his game for NFL, He took the blame for the Titans poor start.
He is neither the problem nor the solution for the Titans.
Could he help us after much coaching??????

Head this morning from a very unreliable source that the Texans were talking to the Patriots during the Jets game last night about Thorton, Bourne and Osborne. Looking for the cheapest option. Diggs gone for the year and Collins has been on th mattress for five weeks. They didn't get much help from anyone but Hank Dell last night. If they are desperate, might be able to pick up a fifth rounder. I just don't trust Wolfe at this juncture.

This unsubstantiated rumor comes from Josina Anderson who is really well known for .........nothing.
Rumor says that the Patriots are monitoring the market for WR's (duh!) and proposes a trade for this receiver who cannot find the field for a Panthers team that lacks talent at WR.

Nothing confirmed........Patriots have supposedly offered their 4th round pick and the Raiders haven't seen anything anywhere near as high in the draft............all hinging on KJ Osborn going to the Chargers. Supposedly, Patriots are holding out and will not give him to the Chargers for a 6th round pick...............looking for a fifth. Gimme a fifth of Makers please......
