Patriots trading for Josh Rosen doesn’t seem likely, but not impossible

Following the NFL combine, it sure feels like the Cardinals will select Kyler Murray with the No. 1 overall pick and thus trade away Josh Rosen, who was selected No. 10 overall last season.

So, where does Rosen land and what exactly is he worth?

On the NFL Network broadcast of the combine over the weekend, NFL Media draft expert Daniel Jeremiah said if he were the Patriots he would trade the No. 32 overall pick to the Cardinals for Rosen “yesterday.” Then, NBC Sports’ Peter King wrote Monday this would be “worth investigating,” and heard from a general manager the cost for Rosen would only be a third-round pick.

This is where the rumors really gained steam in New England.

A third-round pick for a top-10 pick just a year ago who has a live arm? Seems like a no-brainer regardless of how long Tom Brady has left. His contract, as pointed out by Pro Football Talk’s Mike Florio, has it make even more sense, but at the same time indicates he’s probably worth more than just a third-rounder.

“Rosen’s contract only has $6.2 million left over the next three years. … That is a steal,” Florio said Tuesday on Mut & Callahan. “That is why I don’t believe Rosen is only worth a third-round pick. I think the contract makes him worth more. He plays a critical position, and I think the Cardinals if they decide to move on from him and take Kyler Murray, they should be able to get more than a three.”

If the Cardinals were in fact going to deal Rosen for a third-round pick, the Patriots likely would be one of the first teams on the phone. It wouldn’t cost them much money at all — $2 million basically, which is what they are paying Brian Hoyer — but he also comes with the chance of potentially being Brady’s successor, which Hoyer isn’t. Considering the team isn’t going to use all 12 of its selections in April’s draft, it can afford to trade away a few. So, for just a third-rounder it would be a no-brainer.

But, as the price gets higher (as high as a first-round pick), that is when it becomes more difficult for the Patriots. Unless they absolutely believe Rosen is their QB of the future, then it seems unlikely to happen. And if they really did, they likely would have moved up to get him last year.

While the Patriots certainly will likely be paying close attention to what is happening with Rosen in Arizona, him coming to New England feels more like a pipe dream than anything.

From what I have been told the Raiders called the Cardinals about Rosen and offered their last pick in the 1st round. So I would say that is the baseline of what a team has to beat compensation wise to get Rosen.

So Chucky thinks Rosen has more potential than Carr interesting. Because I don't think Carr was the problem in Oakland I think Chucky cleaning house was the problem in Oakland. But hey Oakland and the pics and the cap space to play with.

Not sure that he thinks Rosen has more potential than Carr but the idea of having a QB on a cheap deal is always a nice thought. Plus then he could trade Carr so still get something back in return. Other teams trading for him wouldn't have that 2nd option of trading their starter so gives the Raiders a bit more ability to offer a bigger deal to the Cardinals. Plus 3 1st round picks helps as well where you can still add plenty of quality players.

Another female democratic movement telling Proctor and Gamble to stop advertising because Kraft is involved in human trafficking. She's got 13,000 signatures, most from womwn who don't use Gillette products. Considering that every time a game is played, "Gillette" is mentioned at least 5 times, I'd tell Rebecca to go pound some sand up her ass.

These are the feminists that want the Madi Gras to stop handing out plastic beads to women who show their tits. Like the women at MadiGrasgive a shit about what Rebecca and her anal retentive friends want.

Like Gillette wants to pull out out of a deal that has cost them less to have their name on an NFL stadium than it did to advertise 3 commercials at Super Bowl LIII.

Boston-based shaving giant Gillette is being called on by internet activists to take its name off the New England Patriots’ Foxboro stadium after team owner Robert Kraft was charged in a case linked to alleged human trafficking.

A web petition on Care2.com had garnered more than 13,000 signatures by Tuesday, demanding that Procter & Gamble — Gillette’s parent company — cut ties with the Patriots. An organizer of the petition drive noted the company’s recent venture into lecturing men about morality.

“We’re asking Gillette to stop sponsoring Gillette Stadium, the home stadium for the New England Patriots — owned by Robert Kraft, who was just arrested during a human trafficking sting operation,” the petition reads.

Kraft pleaded not guilty last month to soliciting prostitution charges in Jupiter, Fla., in connection with a sting targeting massage parlors staffed with Chinese women that authorities say were virtual sex slaves. In January, Gillette launched its controversial “Is This The Best A Man Can Get?” ad campaign that cited the #MeToo movement and took aim at so-called toxic masculinity, suggesting boys need to be taught not to be abusive.

Care2’s Rebecca Gerber said, “It’s nice to see a brand use their influence for good, but now it’s time to see if they will actually back up their words with action.”

“Robert Kraft believed his power would protect him from being held accountable for exploiting vulnerable women forced into sex slavery. This is exactly the kind of behavior Gillette said it will stand against,” Gerber said in a statement to the Herald. She said approximately 200 of the 13,000 signatories are from Massachusetts.

“The sting operation exposed that the workers, mostly from China, were lured to America with the promise of regular massage therapy work. However, when they got here, they were forced into performing sex work with few breaks, no days off, and in unhygienic conditions. Essentially, they were forced into sex slavery,” the petition continues.

Care2 bills itself as a network of campaigners to “fuel the progressive movement” on causes they care about. Other notable campaigns on the website include “Impeach Trump,” “Ban Plastic Beads At Mardi Gras” and “Tell Congress We Need A Strong Green New Deal.”

Dan Warner: Robert Kraft is not the face of human trafficking
A spokeswoman for Gillette did not immediately respond to a request for comment. Gillette said on its website when the campaign began in January that it is “time we acknowledge that brands, like ours, play a role in influencing culture. And as a company that encourages men to be their best, we have a responsibility to make sure we are promoting positive, attainable, inclusive and healthy versions of what it means to be a man.”

Gary Coombe, president of P&G Global Grooming, said at the time, “By holding each other accountable, eliminating excuses for bad behavior and supporting a new generation working toward their personal ‘best,’ we can help create positive change that will matter for years to come.”

The Kraft Group, which owns 66,000-seat Gillette Stadium, signed an extension with P&G in 2010 for naming and sponsorship rights to the stadium through 2031.

Screw them.
I wonder how many of the signers of the petition live in New England and are not haters from away?

In a side note one of the companies going for naming rights was Monster the job finding site.
It could have been named Monster stadium. I thought would be pretty cool.

I thought he got a Blowy and a Handy

In the police report, she had her head "near" his penis and it did not say she had his penis in her mouth. It also said that she manipulated it by hand. There wasn't a second report only that one. I wasn't there and they won't let me watch the vidoe, so I could be wrong all the way around the barn. Sorry, around the spa.

Robert Kraft Ordered To Personally Appear In Court For Prostitution Case

Kraft "MUST APPEAR"

I am really beginning to think this is more of a smear campaign than it is anything else.
Keeping Kraft on the front page, and keeping people that don't think for themselves believing he is involved with trafficking
young girls as sex slaves.

He got a handy from a 58 year old lady.

FIFTY EIGHT!!!!

Nobody is trafficking 58 year old women.
Even in The Villages.

If the 13,000 female signatures I bet not a single one of them is an attractive woman. It's always the fat ugly ones that bitch about sexual harassment.

Yeah, I got that.
That's not what the vast majority of no mind individuals believe though.

They still believe;
The Pats video taped the Rams
Temperature has no effect on pressure
Robert Kraft is importing girls, holding them captive while he has his way with them.

Well I do believe the Pats filmed or had film on the Rams. I also believe someone deflated a few balls other than mother nature, to date I don't think Bobby K is trafficking Ho's
