Yeah.

The guys that were scheduled to play should have declined sooner.

But, the guys that were a late 4th round pick for THE SELECT TEAM?

Fug outta here.

Those kids got asked to participate last week.

I'm sure they already had summer plans.

Plus, the ones willing to play are correct.

It sucks elephant balls that they will just be cast aside for the Olympics when the bigger named guys decide to play.

If this team is able to win gold, they should get the opportunity to run it back in the Olympics.

Other countries have a pretty large advantage over the US in that they mostly know who their team will be well in advance.

I would rather let a group of good players build some continuity then try to reset every summer with a new team. Then, if somebody gets hurt or can’t play, maybe you replace him with a star that opted out the summer before.

But keep the group together.

Have you ever been? I've sung in the private karaoke rooms, but never sung in front of an audience at the bar, I was too much of chicken shit and most of the singers that perform are usually pretty good so I know I would look like a fool.

Baritone in my church choir, sang semi-professionaly, and yes, did more than my fair share of karaoke...

Karaoke is cool.

But, I prefer places like Howl at the Moon where the drinks are plentiful, there are dueling pianos taking audience requests from every genre and everyone is shitfaced and singing at the top of their lungs, simultaneously.

Everytime I take my kids to Universal Studios, I hit howl at the moon that evening.

I kinda like the overs for the Mavericks and Wizards.

Lakers at 49.5 is pretty hilarious if you ask me- but prob not too wrong.

Toronto at 46.5 seems a little high, but who knows.

If I had to pick 2 of each I'd go with the following....

over - Atlanta, Portland
under - Milwaukee, Toronto

Michael Beasley is a garbage player - one of the truly magnificent busts of the last 20 years in the NBA- an addition to being a scumbag who is arrested for drugs, investigated for sexual sexual assault, driving with a suspended license, driving with unlicensed loaded guns, and constantly let his teammates down with his laziness, lack of attention to detail, and poor shot selection/ball hogging.

Riley picked him ahead of Russell Westbrook and Kevin Love- 2 guys that went almost immediately thereafter.

so much talent that went up in smoke (literally).

Scumbag?
You’re so FOS.
Yep, he smokes pot, along with the vast majority of NBA players.

Investigated?
What actually happened?

But, nothing new with you commenting on things you know nothing about.

He didn’t live up to his hype, but his decade plus NBA career is much above player average.

Your point? Beasley and Rose were going 1-2 that year no matter what. Every team would have done exactly what Miami did

he did what they all do--- write a big check to shut them up.

funny how you say "all NBA players smoke pot" but oh so few let it derail their careers to the extent it owned Beasley.
