Have long thought that a team of solid NBA role players that played together every summer would be just as good as the “all star” model where a few of the top dogs beg out.

Assuming Tatum, Mitchell, and Kuzma play how they should then I agree. Kemba being there is big also

Would have preferred for Toronto to play someone out East. Raptors aren't a bad team and probably win mid 40's this year. Should have been Philly, Milwaukee, or Brooklyn playing Toronto on opening night.

There isn't a single top 15 player on team USA roster. Man I hope they lose just so I can see all these loser players who withdrew bitch on social media how it won't happen again and etc as they did following the 2004 Olympics.

What a hometown discount. This Max is much more reasonable than the max he could have commanded after the season. If he got an all nba spot or won dpoy he could have been eligible for 5yrs 225M. 4 years at 25M per is likely the best outcome for both parties without either getting upset at the free agent process.
