Its a stupid premise.
TT very well might be happy with a longer term, lower dollar deal, because he knows his ceiling and is happy to grind out another X amount guaranteed.

Whiteside has a much higher ceiling and might want to leave his future options more open.

I even offered to bet you both ways, correct?
Split the difference.
Not sure why you are worried so much about fake money.
i am not worried about it. its why i have always said i will make the bet that Thompson gets more guaranteed money than Whiteside.

i am not going to rant and rave like a lunatic like you are.

from day one I said that I am PERFECTLY willing to bet that Tristan Thompson gets more guaranteed money than Hassan Whiteside.

if you dont want to take that bet thats fine- i am not going to rant and rave like a lunatic.

From Jason Lloyd- i think its a great encapsulation of what the Cavs will be this season:

This season is about developing Sexton and Garland, figuring out if those two can play together, seeing what you have in Dylan Windler and Kevin Porter Jr. and then bundling some of these veterans on expiring deals and trying to cash them in for future assets. It isn't sexy. It won't sell a lot of tickets. But it's their reality.

To my knowledge, no, they did not seriously entertain the idea. Nor should they have. This team isn't ready to contend and adding a personality like Westbrook could've been a disaster even with his strong ties to Love. The Cavs are doing exactly what they should be doing: taking on bad money for future assets, developing youngesters ... and losing a lot of games in between.

I love how Cleveland's new motto is: Tank for the foreseeable future and try to pay as many guys who don't deserve it. What a time to be alive.

ill bet you the Heat do not win a playoff series this year

1,000 vcash?

LMAO dude you're a coward.

You try an make a bet that is probably obvious to most.

You can tell by my playoffs predictions that I'm not exactly expecting them to win a playoffs series. Why would I make this bet when I agree?

How about this pussy boy @WiggyRuss ? You make the correct Whiteside bet with @TurnUpTheHeat then I make the Heat bet with you (even though I agree the Heat are unlikely to win a series)

Deal?

Like I said, more guaranteed can easily be a lessor contract, even explained it to you.
Its not rocket science.
Player who is valued more in the NBA will get a higher annual amount offered.

Question, do you think TT is the more valued player?

It's the emasculating technique.....I didn't turn down a bet but he can't read.

So I say "more money"- you are too much of a pussy to make that bet...so you try and change to a nebulous term like "more valued".

Please-the glue sniffing has to stop.

I have said from the beginning- I will bet that Tristan Thompson gets more money than Hassan Whiteside this offseason. I dont know how much more clear and straight forward that can be.
