It will be from a Clipper pick after they traded it to us unprotected.
You're going to wait a long time for the next available Clipper pick if you want it direct. You'll have to work with the Thunder...

I said I thought 3-4 years. And what you don't want is purgatory nearly EVERY year. One year could be inevitable. Not likely a team will go from 20-25 wins to 55+.
I, personally, don’t think a championship is the end all of having a fun/good season.
Can’t advance in playoffs if you aren’t in them.
Unless Kawhi bolts after year 3.You're going to wait a long time for the next available Clipper pick if you want it direct. You'll have to work with the Thunder...
I don't disagree. Titles are hard to come by. Need a lot of luck/timing. But there's a difference in being what looks like a 5-6 seed at best and often 8 or lower than a 3-4 seed with at least a shot at coming out of the East.If you are hopeful with that maybe plan, fine.
I prefer Heat way, but I get the Cavs are at a disadvantage with FA.
No right or wrong, just whatever works.

Agreed. As long as my team makes progress, I'm happy. Of course, with Lebron and AD, what progress means changes a lot from the years where they had just the kids developing.

Mcfly.....it was a joke. I don't expect the Cavs to receive an unprotected 1st from them to replicate the Kyrie deal. They don't get their picks back from the PG trade if Kawhi bolts.
Not sure anyone said the Cavs plan will work.....but I'm certain if they adopted the Miami "plan" it would fail here. There is, but no ‘tank’ plan guarantees anything, and playoffs are fun.
Rarely are there huge upsets in a 7 game series, but if parity starts coming into play, which is hoped, you never know.

Yeah, I don't think building from a bottom feeder to a 5-6 or lower is all that difficult. A couple of decent drafts and development of players can get a team there.
It's taking that next step into 1-4 seed status that seems to be the hardest for most teams.
For the Cavs? I'd say trying to move up after next season when they have a ton of cap room and probably extra draft picks.Agree, but at what point are you hoping to be on the ladder trying to move up vs being content trying to get to bottom of ladder?
I think DJ is jealous of me.
6-8 years. How long is this quick Cavs rebuild going to take?
Exactly, Kobe's nothing special
Or what happens first:
A. Cavs win a playoff game, or
B. @WiggyRuss sees a vagina thats not on the internet or made of plastic.
Same as LA?6-8 years.
