Exactly. The opposing PG for Orlando who played as well or better than Herro....though it should have read Jeffries.

Your point? I followed Heat writers. I don't follow Orlando writers.

If you want summer league reports on Orlando players then search those writers twitters. Heat fans are worried about Miami Heat players.....

I mean its just common sense.

There is a better chance you get a better player at 1 then 2, 2 then 3, and so on and so forth. The higher your draft pick, the more likely you will get a better player.

Its not rocket science here.

Thats what i am talking about with odds that you seem to fail to grasp.

Maybe there is a 25% chance I get an all-star with the 4th overall pick and maybe there is a 5% chance I get an all star with the 20th pick. However you want to distribute it--- its common sense that will be born out over time- again and again and again.

There is a positive correlation between draft position and the results of the pick.

You are saying a specific number like 20th pick,
Im saying, often, 2-3 players or more from picks 10-20 end up better then 1-10.

Most of these kids are 18-19 years old.
Many variables can change what it takes to still improve, as we always see.

Call him right now, Pelinka.

lol @WiggyRuss facepalming this post.

He's an end of the bench player at this point, and the Lakers have an end of the bench spot available.

I can think of a lot worse to put at the end of the bench than Livingston.

Magic can't stop himself from talking. It's part of his charm and why everyone loves him. But it's not what you need when working with a player who has said he wants things handled discreetly.

Magic isn't part of the Lakers FO anymore, so it's not really on them. The only reason he was involved was because Kawhi requested a meeting with him.

Like I said trade away basically their whole team and keep one nice player around $11M...which is Leonard in this case.

So they have Leonard, Butler, Love, RW and James Johnson. They would keep Herro in this scenario but they would have no depth
Just a rumor and can't see it happening but found this one interesting. Only way I do it is if they see it making them at least a contender in the East. If not, what's the point as they'd have no way to improve for a long time?

This Is How The Cleveland Cavaliers Can Acquire Russell Westbrook -- And Become A Contender Again

I lived in Warrensville area 5th-10th grade, then moved to Mayfield when my father re married.
I was paper boy to many of the Cavs like Bingo Smith, Foots Walker, Nate Thurmond, Jim Brewer, etc.. and lived a few doors away from Austin Carr.
You are older than I thought, TurnUp. Had you pegged for early 30's...

Livingston can still give you about 10-15 minutes of strong quality play. I'd probably rely on him more of about 8-10 minutes, personally. But I don't know how adding a guy with that much experience is such a bad thing.

Kyle Tucker or Yordan Alvarez of the Astros are optiosn as well - both would be great fits. Keeston Huira of the Brewers would be a really nice get as well.

Kiriloff or Royce Lewis of the Twins would also be very good gets.

That's my thought. He won't cost much and if he can give a few quality minutes to get guys a little extra rest, that's a good thing.

With his experience, giving him 8-10 minutes a game during the season and then maybe bumping it up a little in playoffs could help.

At worst, it certainly won't hurt.

Yep.

If he were on the Cavs....he'd be a great mentor to the kids....LOL.

He is a great locker room presence also...

I get everyone getting on Wiggy but Livingston is washed so he isn't syaing anything crazy. I'm sure Warriors fans would agree as well.

Maybe if you actually had a open roster spot then you sign him as a veteran presence in the locker room but I am not releasing a player to make room for him.
