Sure in Summer League he does more than hit an open shot. But did you note the opposing PG last night played as well or better than Herro?

I wasnt able to watch majority of the game.
My son said Herro, Robinson once again played well.

Again, you are wrong.
Yes, every now and then you get a 100% cant miss, like LeBron ( barring injury), but OFTEN, the best players from draft dont necessarily come from the very top of the draft.
Its not even a debate if you would just look.
And, that doesnt mean it will be Herro this year, so dont go there.

Good Luck with the poker thing and taking every dime I have.
please tell me that you agree with this one simple statement, if you cant, i have no hope for you

True or False

The higher you draft, the better chance you have of finding a good player.

when I lived in Shaker as a kid I think that was the one I went to. Near Lawson's right?

Pretty sure the one on Mayfield by the freeway is still there. Those were really the only 2 I ever went to.

And, yeah, when I moved out to Phoenix Mr. Hero (and Chick-Fil-A) were missed and places I had to go when I came back to visit.

The one I was referring to is/was in Warrensville near old Randall Mall.

True that you have the bigger pool to choose from. Of course.

Now, answer this.
How often do multiple players picked after 10, end up being better than players selected top 10?

Yeah good moment the team had with Carrasco too.

If they can get Carrasco and Kluber back soon and playing well with the depth of the SP they will have the best rotation in the majors...I do expect Kluber or Bauer to be traded though but you never know.
with the injury to Klubes I'd say Bauer more likely. For a stud OFer (among others) I'd think long and hard about it.

I mean its just common sense.

There is a better chance you get a better player at 1 then 2, 2 then 3, and so on and so forth. The higher your draft pick, the more likely you will get a better player.

Its not rocket science here.

Thats what i am talking about with odds that you seem to fail to grasp.

Maybe there is a 25% chance I get an all-star with the 4th overall pick and maybe there is a 5% chance I get an all star with the 20th pick. However you want to distribute it--- its common sense that will be born out over time- again and again and again.

There is a positive correlation between draft position and the results of the pick.

I think the one I'm thinking of is also on Warrensville (might be wrong about Lawson's as that may have been Northfield). Close to Randall, but not as close as it sounds like you're thinking. Closer to Chagrin than Randall.

Did you go to HS here?

Yep....might have just been an aberration, but certainly could have been a sign of things to come.

The difference, imo, is Kobe blew out his Achilles at 34. Lebron suffered a groin strain. 2 very different injuries.

This could be a start of injury issues for Lebron, but the extra rest he got this past off-season and the fact that he's a physical freak should help.

But it's definitely something to keep an eye on.

to the Yanks for Frazier and another prospect or two?
If the OFer is Frazier I think I might want more than another prospect.....unless he's considered a stud and major league ready.

Also wouldn't mind Healy from SD.

My guess is aberration, as well.

Might be getting Clint Frazier back, which I wouldn't have a problem with

Urias is the guy you want from San Diego...he would be our 2nd basemen the next 7 years.

He's still only 24.

.283 11 HR's 34 RBI's in 53 games. If there are young stud OF's/IF's out there definitely, just not sure what their options are looking like. You would think they could get a top kind of prospect for Bauer.

Healy AND Urias? Cannot say I know much about him, but shouldn't be a crazy ask. Bauer is a stud. All star caliber and extremely durable.

I think hes a .290 30 homer guy once he hits his stride........thats pretty damn appealing.

Urias is a top 15 MLB prospect and a great hitting prospect- if we could get him and some lesser guys to take a shot at i would be more than happy with it. Him alone might even be asking too much.

I lived in Warrensville area 5th-10th grade, then moved to Mayfield when my father re married.
I was paper boy to many of the Cavs like Bingo Smith, Foots Walker, Nate Thurmond, Jim Brewer, etc.. and lived a few doors away from Austin Carr.
