Yeah. You can't really extrapolate his numbers because the data set is too small. Honestly, it is hard to imagine his shooting numbers ever getting worse though.

If we are looking at their trade value, it is hard to argue that one is notably more valuable than the other.

I agree. I expect Fultz to have a bounce back 2nd season.

I'm confused at what you are trying to argue here. Do you think if Markelle Fultz had played 52 games instead of 14 games his stats would have been dramatically WORSE? I wasn't comparing Fultz to Ball because Ball's stats were so impressive.

You seem to want to argue that Ball is a better trade value simply because he played more games last year. That's a weird argument. BOTH of them showed some great promise in their games outside of shooting. They BOTH shot very poorly. Anyone that watched them both play would agree with that.

Minimal stats coming off the bench against bench players does not correlate to starters minutes vs starters. The only value to Fultz' late season minutes would've been to establish that he had regained his shooting form. The jury is still out on that.

It's encouraging that he went off to Drew Hanlen to completely rework his shot. Sucks that he is probably going to miss Summer League but sticking with the program takes precedence.

I haven't heard whether Ball is doing anything with his shot or not.

So all of his stats are meaningless except his bad ones. Gotcha.

Did you watch him play, at all?

It's better he doesn't go to the Summer League anyway. He's only 20. When he's not hooping it up in the desert he wouldn't even be able to hangout in any of the casinos.

I always find videos like these to be really funny.

People don't understand that 18 in a row unguarded is no big deal for these guys. A high quality NBA shooter should have a couple stretches like that within any shooting workout they do.
Oh, I totally get that... the joke (which you might have missed) was the juxtaposition with Ben Simmons in the post previous to that.

I'm done arguing, since that is all you want to do apparently.

You want to make a strained argument that Lonzo Ball is a markedly better trade asset than Markelle Fultz. You dismiss any of the stats that support my point about Fultz and seem to ignore that Fultz's bad stats were nearly identical to Ball's but apparently that doesn't count either.

My position is pretty straight forward. Both struggled in their first year but showed a lot of promise and could still live up to their expectations if they can improve their shots.

If you want to view Lonzo as a top prospect and Fultz as damaged goods that's on you. You won't find a lot of objective observers that would agree with that.

moldy? mold can fight gross bacteria - havent you ever heard of how penicillin was made? that moldy bread can fight diseases- like the tragic "benchside" disease.....you get this disease when you have a skill set that does not project to the modern game, and whine and complain about playing time and make yourself a distraction while your team is trying to win a playoff series! ;)

why draft luka doncic when you can sign zach lavine?

kings gonna king.

they took a PF that, while is a good player, cant play D. Power forwards that can play a little offense and rebound are a dime a dozen. if bagley develops a 3 or becomes a great passer- okay.....but geez.
