I hesitate to say “way too much” but I think it would be way too much for the 76ers to give up for Kawhi.

That stance changes if an extension is agreed upon. But even with an extension, I think it’s probably too much. It’s hard to justify giving up Dario AND Fultz AND that Miami pick. But really, I would mostly object to Dario’s inclusion in the trade.

Fultz has to be considered damaged goods at this point. Dario and a mid-round 1st plus a 50% prospect is too much for a top 5 player in the league?

Not sure why you guys are trying to kill off KG.

I understand his personality was a bit much, but IMO he is the ideal PF fitting in any era. Great defender, unselfish offensively and a hell of a competitor. I will take KG on my team any tiMe.

He would be fine on any of these rosters and he is still the 3 best all-around PF of all-time in my book. Him and Kareem would be lethal, add in Lebron and Lebron and they could win with 4 lol

He was a better shooter in his rookie year than these two. But if your hope is to sell these two as trade pieces on the hope they may someday be as good a shooter as Jason Kidd have at it. The modern game requires everyone to shoot. Rondo was a better shooter than these two and he never became a Kidd. Its a hope but comparisons to Kidd need to be calmed down. Both will be serviceable starters

I'm not comparing them to Kidd. You use the same argument about Ben Simmons. It is a myopic argument. Of course you want everyone to shoot well.

But the game today is about EFFICIENCY, not shooting.

That's extrapolating a very small sample size, not a lot of value there. That's not far from saying a 3rd string PF getting 4 pts and 3 rebounds per game in 10 minutes is suddenly going to average a double double if he started.

We are both extrapolating from the same data set. If Fultz had broken something and missed the entire season, would anyone be arguing that he is damaged goods?

It's not like he was some unknown guy that came out of nowhere. He was the No. 1 pick in the draft for a reason.

But he didn't break anything. He entered the season unable to shoot. I am discussing 1780 minutes played over 52 games. You're projecting from 253 minutes over 14 games played. If can't acknowledge the huge difference, you're just trolling.
