No difference between 3 and 4. Get hca in round 1 and are on the road in round 2 if the top seeds advance. Why go all out and risk injury in game 82 for something so minor?

Huge difference, they could have avoided both golden state and Houston until the finals. Just makes no sense.

2-2 vs Utah
0-4 vs OKC

Pretty easy to see why they didn't care about the 3 seed

1. It's been reported that Magic Johnson was just not committed to the job. Every person that takes over that role has visions of their respective team making it to the Finals and winning. It takes effort, precision and effectiveness in their own duties to achieve that vision; Magic was clearly lacking in the first part, and probably wasn't good with the other traits either. Magic staying in the role likely would've resulted in the Lakers continuing on the path of mediocrity. He basically wasted a year of Lebron's prime years which are slowly dwindling away.

2. I understand the reasoning for allowing Randle to leave if you land an actual All-Star. Randle's a good player, but he's not elite (at the moment). I also am assuming that you mean picking Lonzo Ball over Tatum and not the way you worded it. If Pelinka really wanted Tatum over Ball, then that's not exactly a reason to fire him. Also, Magic's the one whom made the overall decisions. He could've overrode Pelinka's decision making. It was his hire, it falls on him as well.
supposedly....Magic wanted to draft Fox over Ball but Jeanie Buss stuck her fat nose in because she wanted to draft the UCLA guy that would be a "bigger star" and easier to market in the LA area and it was a point of tension between the two- that got bigger and bigger when it became clear that Fox was absolutely a much much better choice.

Why not play the starters to start the 2nd half? Not like they're resting for a playoff series.

Hopefully Denver can comeback as well otherwise the Portland game doesn’t matter.

Johhny Flyn...erggg... Collin Sexton Finishes Rookie Campaign in Same Class as Stephen Curry and Larry Bird

✔@CavsNotes

.@CollinSexton02 finished 2018-19 w/ averages of 16.7 PTS, 40.2 3FG%, 83.9 FT%, 2.9 REB & 3.0 AST in 31.8 MIN. He became the 3rd rookie in @NBAHistory to average at least 16.0 PPG while shooting 40.0 3FG% & 80.0 FT% (Larry Bird 1979-80, Stephen Curry 2009-10) #NBAAllRookie1stTeam

I gotta say---- Sexton made everyone a little nervous for the first month or two of the season- but the kid has an A+ work ethic, played in EVERY SINGLE game of the season, and made huge strides his first year in the league.

Sacramento, Charlotte, and Miami all tied with 39 wins and for the 12th, 13th, 14th spots in the lotto

Glad that Sacramento took some major steps this year. They have built a great young foundation with Fox, Bagley, Hield, Giles and co.

Plus its great that Boston sure thought they were gonna get a lot better lotto selection than they are gonna get from the Kings. Boston had to think that pick would come in big- now it looks like its going to be a very mediocre pick in a draft that does not look very good after the first 3-6 picks.

Culver, Hunter, Reddish seem like decent gambles after the top 3.....

Wow Nuggets end game on a 15-0 run in the last 3 and change to go.

They're the 2 seed

Rudy Gobert just an animal this year.

(i) One of the best defensive players, if not the best in the league

(ii) best player on a Jazz team that won 50 games in the West

(iii) highest fg% in the entire NBA at 67%, played in 81 games

(iv) 16 pts, 13 boards, 2.3 blocks, 2.0 assists per game.

At one point the Jazz were in trouble early in the season. For them to put it together, win 50 games and get the 5 seed when they were at one time out of the playoffs is pretty awesome.

Not too many teams have as great a young 1-2 combo as Gobert and Mitchell.

Whiteside finishes the year with a DNP-CD, averages 23 minutes a game, was banished to the bench, and the Heat are praying that he declines his player option worth 27M next year
